Just like Aunt Julia! Emma Roberts wears Mystic Pizza T-shirt in nod to 1988 movie as she films with its director Donald Petrie in Toronto

Emma Roberts was photographed giving a tip of the hat to her movie star aunt Julia Roberts while she was in Toronto on Wednesday.

The 26-year-old was wearing a T-shirt advertising Mystic Pizza, complete with the restaurant's slogan: 'A Slice Of Heaven,' and its pizza slice logo.

Julia had starred in a 1988 movie called Mystic Pizza, which was named after and partly set in a joint based on the chain's original location in Mystic, Connecticut.

Emma's T-shirt rode up to bare a faint trace of her enviably trim midriff, and was - like one her now 49-year-old aunt wore in the movie - scarlet.

It's unlikely the T-shirt was an accident of fate: Emma's been in Toronto shooting a movie called Little Italy, helmed by Mystic Pizza's director Donald Petrie.

They were both seen on set Thursday, as was co-star Hayden Christensen, most known for his stab at playing Anakin Skywalker in the Star Wars prequels.

Hayden had worn a T-shirt with a horse silhouette splashed onto the Italian tricolor with the words: 'SAVE A STALLION' above and 'RIDE AN ITALIAN' below.

Emma, whose FOX horror comedy series Scream Queens was recently canceled after two seasons, spent a bit of time plugging Little Italy to WWD recently.

'It’s a romantic comedy and the director is Donald Petrie, who did How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days, Miss Congeniality, and he worked with my aunt in Mystic Pizza,' said she.

Plugging: Emma told WWD recently that Little Italy is 'going to be a really fun movie; it’s one of those where you laugh, you cry, you smile'

'It’s going to be a really fun movie; it’s one of those where you laugh, you cry, you smile. I feel like I haven’t seen any of those movies lately and those are what I love.'

She's clarified of the selected filming location: 'The movie is supposed to be set in Canada. So we are shooting Canada for Canada - shocking,' she quipped.
