Awkward! Camila Cabello performs separately from Fifth Harmony at Jingle Ball... after leaving girl group to launch solo career

She split from the wildly popular girl group Fifth Harmony to forge a solo singing career last year.

And things may have gotten a little awkward on Sunday night, as Camila Cabello and her former band were both slated to perform at Jingle Ball at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.

It was just a little more than a year ago all five performed together as Fifth Harmony at Jingle Ball in Dallas, Texas.

But on Sunday the ladies hit the stage separately.

Camila, 20, belted out her hits alongside her back-up dancers and singers, rocking a funky white blouse, red corset, and shorts.

The Bad Things hit-maker dazzled as she serenaded the audience with her guitar slung across her body.

Oozing confidence, Camila stole the spotlight as she danced and sang in front of the crowd.

Fifth Harmony, meanwhile, looked simply sensational in their wild and edgy ensembles.

Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Lauren Jauregui, and Dinah Jane rocked a mixture of red plaid, thigh-high boots, and crop tops as they performed their chart-toppers for the enthusiastic audience.

Headliners for the night included Kelly Clarkson, Halsey, Fall Out Boy, Charlie Puth, Sabrina Carpenter, MAX, and Why Don't Why.

Fifth Harmony announced last December that Camila had left the group.

In the Twitter statement the band said: 'After 4 and a half years of being together, we have been informed via her representatives that Camila has decided to leave Fifth Harmony. We wish her well.

'You Harmonizers have been there with us since the beginning, you've supported us, and with your love and support, we will continue on.

'That being said, we are excited to announce that we will be moving forward with the four of us- Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane and Lauren Jauregui for our fans.

'We are four strong, committed women who will continue with Fifth Harmony as well as our solo endeavors.'

And the group insisted that the love of their fans is key to their decision to continue, rather than lucrative opportunities.

In November 2015 she released hit single, I Know What You Did Last Summer, with Canadian singer Shawn Mendes, which they wrote together.

She followed that up with single, Bad Things, with American rapper Machine Gun Kelly, which dropped in October 2016, two months before Camila announced she was quitting Fifth Harmony.

Camila was later featured in Hey Ma, a collaboration with Pitbull and J Balvin for blockbuster movie The Fate Of The Furious: The Album.

Her debut solo album, The Hurting. The Healing. The Loving., is set to be released next month.
