'I have a guest who educates me a lot': Vanderpump Rules' Stassi Schroeder is set to address controversy surrounding the #MeToo campaign in second podcast after she was accused of attacking sexual assault victims

Stassi Schroeder faced backlash last month after it was alleged she criticised the #MeToo sexual harassment campaign on her podcast.

The 29-year-old Vanderpump Rules star claimed women who were using the hashtag, were the same women who are all too willing to go to the hotel rooms in which assault occurred.

And after apologising for her 'irresponsible' comments, the reality star told News Corp on Monday, that she will re-address the topic on Straight Up With Stassi: 'I have a guest on who has a very poignant story and educates me a lot on everything.'

Stassi's upcoming podcast this week will see a sexual assault victim detailing their story of abuse.

The model and blogger revealed that she has also taken to Twitter, encouraging other women to share their experiences in future podcasts.

'I realised I couldn't just read people's long emails on a podcast, I had to have somebody there for me to talk to and interview, so I have somebody on and we spend the first half talking about normal things, and then the last half really getting into that.'

Last month, Stassi found herself at the centre of controversy over her podcast, 'Are we on a male witch hunt?'

The starlet claimed that those who were joining the #MeToo campaign, were the same women who all too willingly went to the hotel rooms in which said abuse took place.

Stassi also said on her podcast: 'No one can make me suck someone's d**k.'

The Bravo TV star's comments resulted in several sponsors backing out of supporting her show.

In a now-deleted Tweet, Stassi defended herself, saying: 'Hold up. There is ZERO bashing,' going on to say that she was misinterpreted and had 'the best intentions' with the episode.

Stassi told DailyMail.com last month: 'We are supposed to be living in a world where women are listening to and supporting each other and everyone has a free voice. However, four sponsors have dropped me without listening to my podcast or contacting me because of what they have seen on Twitter.

'It's only 40 seconds of a two-hour episode, so there is no context. Every 10 minutes in the episode I said 'This is about the victims, I want this to be all about the victims'. What I actually care about is sexual assault victims, not someone who had their ass grabbed 20 years ago. I'm not calling anyone a liar.'

'I'm questioning why we are condemning people without any investigation at all, and those people are then immediately fired. With Weinstein there are over 80 women, there is no questioning it.

'Everyone's individual experience is their own, and I feel I made a mistake in lumping them together and for that I really am sorry.'

Stassi also Tweeted: 'My podcast is an outlet for me to share my unfiltered opinion with my listeners; but on my latest episode I crossed a line.

'It was irresponsible for me to make generalized statements about a very serious topic, such as sexual harassment, as it is not my place to speak about anyone else's experiences. I apologize.

'I will continue to speak my mind on my podcast but will put more thought behind my dialogue moving forward.'
