Donald Trump, according to his many critics, is the single most divisive, stupid, bigoted and unpopular president in American history. To say Trump is ‘polarizing’ is to massively understate the sheer enormity of hatred that exists toward the billionaire tycoon who won the White House just over a year ago. On social media, every minute of every day, I see hysterical liberals screaming themselves digitally hoarse with rage at his very existence.

A paleontologist and construction workers have found multiple fossils in a Los Angeles subway. The most important discovery is a a few hundred pound mammoth skull. Other fossils include a partial rabbit jaw, mastodon tooth, camel foreleg, bison vertebrae, and a tooth and ankle bone from a horse. Some of the fossils are 10,000 years old and from the last Ice Age.

Lisa Cadden, 50, (inset right) filed a petition with the US District Court of Massachusetts seeking to protect $3.6million of family riches from a court-ordered seizure for victim restitution. Her husband Barry Cadden, 50, (inset left) was sentenced to nine years in prison in June on racketeering and fraud convictions for his role in a massive meningitis outbreak. Stunning photos show indigenous Kamaiurá people diving underwater and swimming beneath a waterfall in the Amazonian basin in a remote part of Brazil. The Kamaiurá, whose name means 'a raised platform to keep meat, pots and pans', were first contacted by the outside world in 1884. Its population was ravaged by disease in the 1950s but the region was declared a national park by the Brazilian authorities in 1961 to prevent the spread of deadly epidemics.

Wu Yongning, 26, filmed himself doing pull-ups at the top of the Huayuan International Centre in Changsha, China, when he lost his grip and fell 45ft to his death on a terrace below. Uncle Feng Shengliang said Wu was planning to propose to his girlfriend two days after this video was filmed, and was going to offer her a bridal gift of £8,000. He was due to earn around £11,000 from the footage. Wu died on November 8, but the tragedy was only made public on December 8 when his family confirmed it.

A trio of the president's accusers reemerged on Monday to hound him for sexually harassing them. Samantha Holvey, Jessica Leeds and Rachel Crooks had previously made allegations against Trump and appeared on Megyn Kelly 'Today' to demand justice as the White House resumed its claim that the issue had been litigated in last year's election. 'All of a sudden, he's all over, me, kissing and groping and groping and kissing,' said Leeds, a self-proclaimed Democrat, who says she revealed her story because 'I wanted people to know what kind of a person that Trump really is...what a pervert he is.' Leeds claims that Trump assaulted on a plane in the '70s and called her a 'c***' when he ran into her some time later at a party in New York while he was still married to his first wife Ivana.

The Pentagon will allow transgender people to join its ranks, it announced Monday, after a judge's ruling. The Pentagon official tells The Associated Press that transgender people can enlist in the military beginning January 1, despite President Donald Trump's opposition. The new policy reflects growing legal pressure on the issue and the difficult hurdles the federal government would have to cross to enforce Trump's demand to ban transgender individuals from the military. Two federal courts already have ruled against the ban and protests had been held against it (left).

Nicole Grehn, 27, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, went into cardiac arrest and had both of her legs amputated before she was diagnosed with Catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia (CPVT), a rare condition characterized by an abnormal heart rhythm. Two years later, Nicole insists she's happier than she ever and wouldn't trade her legs back 'for anything,' as she proudly shares snapshots of herself in swimsuit while wearing her prosthetics.

Mei Rui, 34, her son Lukas and her parents were flying from Houston, Texas, to New York City on December 8 when they were booted off the plane. They had been sitting on the tarmac for almost three hours because of a de-icing delay, she claims, when she began to breastfeed her 'exhausted' two-year-old son.

Marcia Y. Eubank, 49, was arrested on suspicion of murder Saturday in Coventry Township, Ohio, after police discovered the remains of her husband, 54-year-old Howard L. Eubank. On Saturday afternoon, cops in the community of 11,000 on the southern outskirts of Akron received a call reporting possible human remains at the Eubanks' home. Investigators from the Summit County Sheriff's Office responded and made a gruesome discovery.

In shocking scenes, the woman - wearing sunglasses and a straw hat - roars in the face of airline staff. She yells: 'I will kill everybody on this f****** plane! I will kill everybody on this f****** plane! I will!' There were 141 people aboard the aircraft. The terrifying video was captured by another passenger on the Portland to Sacramento Southwest Airlines flight. According to KOIN6 , the woman had been caught smoking a cigarette and tampering with the smoke detector in the aircraft's bathroom.

Police in Brazil have been slammed after posing for selfies with a notorious gang kingpin accused of drug-trafficking, murders and extortion. Police in Rio de Janeiro captured Rogerio Avelino da Silva - also known as Rogerio 157 - on Wednesday, which was seen as a rare victory for authorities struggling to curb rising violence a year after the city hosted the Summer Olympics. But just days after the success, the police face an angry backlash for taking pictures with the suspected killer. The images, shared on WhatsApp and then across social media, show da Silva handcuffed next to officers with beaming smiles.

An incredible video shows how the life-saving drug naxolone saved a man who was passed out after apparently overdosing on heroin.  Mark Harris took the video when he stopped into a CVS in Detroit in October to pick up medicine and spotted a young man passed out in the greeting card aisle from an obvious overdose.  Harris told WSTP he immediately knew it was a heroin overdose because of the part of the city they were in.

The 2.7-acre Tavern Island in Norwalk, Connecticut, which was first inhabited by European settlers in 1651, is just an hour from New York City. The account is dedicated to posting zoomed in photos of ugly babies in Renaissance paintings with perfect corresponding captions. Martini Smith was tasered when she was 20 at the Franklin County Jail in Ohio. She was pregnant and had been taken into custody on domestic violence charges which were later dropped. Smith, now 26, lost her baby five days after being tasered. She won a $27,500 payout in 2011 but has since spoken out as part of a wider investigation into excessive police use of tasers.

Chandler Self won the women's division of the BMW Dallas marathon with a time of 2:53:58 - but not without the help of 17-year-old Ariana Luterman, who helped her cross the finish line. Luterman, of Addison, Texas, was running the final two miles of the race with Self, a psychiatrist from New York, as part of a relay team with her elite high school, the Greenhill Academy. In the final half mile of the race, Self began to collapse, and in the final 200 yards she fell to her feet several times. Each time, Luterman helped her to her feet. As they reached the finish line, Luterman pushed Self ahead, and with the support of the teen, Self lunged across and won the race.

Nearly three years ago, an island sprung into existence in the South Pacific Kingdom of Tonga, nestling between two older islands in the archipelago. The new island formed after the eruption of a submarine volcano in the region, which flung ash 30,000 feet into the sky, before it eventually settled in January 2015. While scientists first estimated that the island with a 400-foot (120-meter) summit would last just a few months, new calculations suggest it could remain in its new place for as much as 30 years.

An Australian mother-of-two has been left red-faced after spotting a very embarrassing mistake in her children's Santa photo. Tammie Hopley, 29, paid $35 for a selection of meet and greet photos of her children Ryder, two and Ledger, 10 months. Huge crowds packed a public memorial in Zagreb, Croatia for a service to remember war criminal Slobodan Praljak whose final act was to kill himself in front of UN judges (right). An adorable video shows a little boy, Mavy, trying his hardest to not dose off while eating his food in Rumford, Rhode Island. In the brief clip filmed in January of this year, the toddler stares at his dad Clint and chews on his food.
