Championing the trend during a spot of shopping in Los Angeles was none other than the sha-mazing Nicole Scherzinger, showing off her fashion credentials in all-adidas-everything. Teaming her all-black ensemble with hot pink heels, statement sunnies and a shredded denim jacket, Rita looked the epitome of cool.

The beauty flashed her bra in a sheer Adidas top, and made the most of her behind in skintight matching tracksuit bottoms.

Leaving her trainers at home, she added a pair of killer heels to the edgy ensemble as she chatted to a pal.

The star is back in the US after her stellar turn as a judge on this year's X Factor in the UK.

And Nicole certainly went out with a bang last Sunday night, as she headed out to party after the exciting final in another stylish look.

The former Pussycat Doll turned heads in a saucily plunging corset and festive sequin jacket, as she headed to the swanky China Tang restaurant with her fellow judges.

The brunette sizzled in her black corset - which pulled into a sweetheart neckline to give a flash of cleavage, before tightly hugging her frame the rest of the way down.

Getting into the festive spirit however, Nicole then teamed the top with a dazzling red sequin jacket and disco pants, embellished with a sequin animal print all over.

She added height to her statuesque frame with sky-high stiletto boots, and accessorised with a delicate silver necklace to keep all eyes on her striking look.

Nicole appeared in good spirits as she headed out to celebrate the X Factor final, with her fellow judges Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne, as well as the redhead's husband Ozzy and daughter Kelly.

Sharon somewhat matched Nicole in an all-black look, jazzed up by a similar long-line jacket of blue velvet.

Meanwhile her daughter Kelly, 33, slipped into a trendy pinstriped jacket and matching flares as she joined her mother for the celebrations.

Maintaining the workwear-chic feel of the look, she accessorised with black pointed court shoes and a sleek leather handbag.

The X Factor final had gone out with a bang, with firm favourites Rak-Su beating Grace Davies to the title.

Rocker: Ozzy Osbourne also joined his family at the bash - in his trademark fur-lined coat, gold necklace and retro round sunglasses

They are the first boyband to win the show in the show's fourteen year history, and are no doubt hoping to follow in the successful footsteps of Little Mix, who became the first group to win in 2011.

Following the show, Simon boldly declared that Rak-Su have the potential to be as big as One Direction, telling The Sun: 'There’s an awful lot of artists in entertainment who appear nice in front of the cameras but behind them they’re monsters.

'Not these guys. These guys have that same thing as 1D, a certain class. The group are so important to the show for that reason. When you have people like these guys who have ambition it’s great and there’s this wonderful afterglow.'

However, the final was not without drama - with Nicole accused of trying to overshadow Little Mix during their performance.

Loving every minute of the girls' rendition of their anthem Power, the former Pussycat Doll was seen busting a move from her seat, but was branded 'embarrassing' by viewers.

Fans took to Twitter in their droves to slam the star, writing: 'None can steal the limelight from @LittleMix especially not Nicole. It's physically impossible' (sic).

'Nicole was dying to get up there with them all night,' one said, while another added: 'Nicole trying to hog the lime light again... attention seeker.'

And: 'I really wish Nicole would stop vying for attention! Every time someone is on she’s on her feet! & the camera goes to her! She was up in front of the camera, in the way when little mix were on!'

Others, meanwhile, loved Nicole's reaction to Little Mix and praised the star for getting behind a fellow girl group: 'I love that Nicole enjoys the show as if she's a fan! #XFactorFinal #LittleMix.'

'Little Mix are just legends and they prove it performance after performance. Also Nicole jamming at them was goals, I love that woman! So proud of my girls.'
