Feeling festive! Bethenny Frankel dresses as Santa Claus for outing with her daughter Bryn in New York

Christmas is just around the corner.

And when she was glimpsed out in New York on Friday, Bethenny Frankel had got quite into the spirit of the occasion.

The 47-year-old Skinnygirl impresaria was seen wearing a Santa Claus outfit as she pounded the pavement with her seven-year-old daughter Bryn Hoppy.

Bethenny, who used to be a Real Housewife Of New York City, elegantly clashed this red and white Kris Kringle look with camel-colored boots.

She went without the gift-giver's iconic hat and beard, opting instead for a little white-trimmed red bow that sat lopsided on her head.

Bryn is Bethenny's daughter by her second husband Jason Hoppy, who married her in 2010 less than two months before their little girl was born.

Near the end of 2012, she and her pharma exec separated.

Bethenny filed in 2013 for a divorce that only wound up being finalized last year.

Her first marriage, which had lasted from 1996 to 1997, was to showbiz exec Peter Sussman and did not result in any children.

In 2015, while her second divorce was still in progress, Bethenny released an advice book called I Suck At Relationships So You Don't Have To: 10 Rules For Not Screwing Up Your Happily Ever After, co-written with Eve Adamson.

'As good as I am in business,' reads part of the introduction, 'that's how bad I am at love.'

The intro also revealed: 'Now, I'm really not so sure I ever want to get married again. I want a life partner, but ten years ago, I thought marriage was the ultimate goal. I'm no longer certain that it is.'

This was followed up by the admission: 'I'm genuinely not sure about this question, so maybe we'll figure that out together, because I really don't want to screw it up again.'
