And Jodie Foster and Rosemarie DeWitt proved on trend in the style department as they sat down to discuss a recent Netflix collaboration at the Build Series studio in New York on Monday.

Jodie, 55, rocked a black suit with Rosemarie, 46, in purple couture as they revealed details for their episode of the new season of Black Mirror entitled Arkangel.

Rosemarie - star of Mad Men and Poltergeist - commanded attention in a sensational sleeveless number.

The two entertainers are on the promotional tour for the fourth installment of the Charlie Brooker produced sci-fi series.

Jodie was tapped to direct the episode Arkangel as Rosemarie was cast as the concerned mother who will go to any lengths to protect her daughter.

In the teaser trailer, Rosemarie's character is seen frantically looking for her daughter who has gone missing in a playground.

'I really wanted to do cable but I also really love short story form . I believe some stories are just that... short stories, not eight seasons long', she explained.

And Rosemarie was surprised Jodie wanted her to take the lead in the episode but also impressed by the writing.

'The piece was super grounded and super real. And when I read the script, I thought "oh this feels very indie film."'

Later in the day, the two stopped by Andy Cohen's SiriusXM show to further divulge details of the episode.

Their masterful collaboration will debut at Netflix on December 29.
