Did she use the Force? Star Wars actress Daisy Ridley enjoys secret trip to Australia...but manages to slip under the radar

She recently slipped into Australia, enjoyed sipping coffees near the St Kilda Pier in Melbourne and dabbled in a bit of yoga.

But Daisy Ridley's presence seemed to go relatively unnoticed as she toured Down Under.

The 25-year-old London-born star of the new Star Wars films managed to sneak into Australia, visit her sister Poppy and hang out like a regular tourist.

Daisy noted in a rare moment when her cover was blown in Melbourne, 'One guy came up to me actually,' she told AAP in an interview in Los Angeles.

'He was really sweet, but Australians were pretty chill.'

Daisy said her sister did not plan on making Australia home.

'She went down to have a little adventure and she met a wonderful man,' she says.

'A lovely Australian man...

'She has lived there for two years.'

Daisy revealed she has attempted to maintain a normal life, whether it is riding the Tube at home in London or flying into Melbourne without an entourage.

'I usually take a lightsaber when I'm not trying to blend in,' she laughed.

Daisy recalled her favourite Melbourne moment in Australia as stopping at a cafe.

'We went to this lovely cafe on the beach at St Kilda,' she said.

'It was a yoga I have not done before - you sit in the pose for a long time.

'It is more of a relaxation thing that was very, very difficult but wonderful.'

The actress previously admitted to having therapy sessions in order to cope with her meteoric rise to fame.

The Star Wars actress boldly revealed that after filming wrapped on The Last Jedi, she enlisted the help of a therapist for six months, admitting that it presented her with an opportunity to 'step away' from the famous franchise.

Speaking to The Telegraph, the 25-year-old confessed: 'I have always suffered with anxiety since I was a teenager, I should have done it way before, but I suddenly realised how good it is to talk about this stuff.'
