Eagle-eyed viewers spot Gemma Atkinson and Gorka Marquez reuniting with an embrace on Strictly Come Dancing results show... after 'fiery row' forced their romance into the open

Their so-called 'budding romance' was forced into the open this weekend, after sources reported of a 'fiery row' between the pair in Blackpool last month.

But Gemma Atkinson and Gorka Marquez appeared to forgive and forget during Sunday night's Strictly Come Dancing results show.

In a blink and you'll miss it moment, Gemma appeared to embrace Gorka as the camera panned away from the dancefloor, after the dancers rushed to hug eliminated couple Mollie King and AJ Pritchard.

Gemma, who was dressed in aqua with her hair in a high quiff, was seen giving departing Mollie King a hug, before turning around to Gorka.

Dressed in a distinctive, red open shirt, Gorka was spotted congratulating Gemma on her successful turn in the dance-off, which saw her chosen to go through to the final.

The pair have been at the centre of a sea of romance rumours since the early weeks of Strictly, though both previously denied they were in a relationship.

Gemma and Gorka's reunion came just weeks after their relationship was forced into the open by a 'fiery row' during the cast's weekend in Blackpool last month.

A source claims Gemma, who is partnered with Aljaz Skorjanec, caught the dancer, who is partnered with Alexandra Burke, flirting with a fellow dancer, leaving her raging.

A source told The Sun: 'Gemma wasn't impressed to see Gorka flirting with a beautiful dancer, brought in as an extra in the professional group of dancers for one of the big numbers at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom.

According to the source Gemma was seen watching him 'with a face like thunder', before confronting him over his 'behaviour'.

'It was the talk of the Strictly pros next day because until this point she and Gorka had been very careful not to be seen looking intimate together in public,' the source continued.

'He stormed back to his room and Gemma followed in the same direction very shortly afterwards.'

Meanwhile, Saturday saw Strictly Come Dancing's long-awaited semi-final.

Alexandra and Gorka, who won the dance off against Davood Ghadami last week, performed an emotional Salsa to Finally by Cece Peniston and a Viennese Waltz to Tina Arena's version of R.E.M's Everybody Hurts.

Ahead of her performance she opened up about the tough time she'd been receiving from trolls recently, welling up as she admitted it was a stressful task being on the show but she's always wanted to do it.

'Watching the video showed how much love is out there. It's definitely given me the kick I needed,' she admitted between tears as she was shown a video of public supporters.

Alexandra slipped into a stunning semi-sheer gown with a feather embellished hem for the sensual performance, wowing the judges who described the dance as the 'silkiest softest pashmina', with Darcey becoming emotional as bagging a jaw-dropping impressive score of 39.

'It's been a tough week but it was worth it!' Alexandra admitted as Gorka Marquez picked Claudia up in excitement.
