Safestyle sells double glazed windows and doors but said business had struggled amid higher inflation and squeezes on consumer spending. It said recent trading was further hit by the extreme weather which disrupted some of its planned installation jobs and it had been forced to spend more on advertising and marketing amid increased competition.

Security minister Ben Wallace says technology already exists to track down stolen cash and return it to victims. The computer program banks need is understood to be going through final tests. The Brexit-hit pound is forcing British holidaymakers to ditch long-haul holidays in favour of cheaper destinations closer to home, travel group Tui has warned, while reporting booming annual sales. In its annual results, the German-based travel group said it was concerned about whether or not its aircrafts would be able to continue using EU airspace freely after Brexit. The FTSE 100 group revealed it is continuing to lobby key UK and EU officials and regulators on the need for a 'liberalised and deregulated' aviation market after Brexit.
