'It’s good to have strong women around a man to teach him to respect women. He doesn’t have a male person saying "don’t cry" or "you throw like a girl". All those s***ty things that dads accidentally do.'

But being a lioness when it comes to parenting doesn't mean January doesn't know how to have fun.

'Just working on different scenarios for my Christmas card...', the Mad Men star jokingly captioned the picture.

Keeping quirky, the The Last Man On Earth actress tossed on a pair of pink wire aviators.

'This is my James Brolin shirt from the og Amityville Horror, snowflake bra, green heart necklace, pink eyeglasses, and feathered bangs look option,' she said, listing the items in her ensemble.

'All those things make me think of Christmas and the fact that I have to explain that to everyone is so stupid,' she explained, 'Option B to come.'
