But Jessica Simpson devoted Saturday to her kids and her husband Eric Johnson as they headed out to watch her daughter's Winter show in Thousand Oaks, California.

Leading the troops the 37-year-old American singer put on a busty display in her plunging top worn with her distressed jeans and a vibrant furry jacket.

Famed for her stylish stage image, it is no surprise the actress was hard to miss in her colourful wrap and trendy circular frame sunglasses.

Injecting further glamour into her casual look, the songstress wore her golden locks in a sea of curls and styled two silver hoop earrings for the outing.

Meanwhile Eric wore a blue shirt open over his T-shirt for a trendy vibe, teamed with smart trousers and boots.

The couple, who wed in a romantic ceremony in 2014, were on parenting duty as they kept their eyes on their two children for the outing.

Maxwell, aged five, was dressed in her school uniform as she was ready to take to the stage for her Winter show.

The schoolgirl styled her locks in tight corkscrew curls, in the same fashion as her superstar mother.

Her little brother Ace, aged four, looked stylish in his green and blue check shirt.

On Friday, Jessica had been getting glammed up for an evening out as she sat in her make-up room.

As she got herself ready, the American beauty treated her legion of 4,000,000 Instagram followers to a very racy festive snap.

Posing in red lingerie and a slinky green robe, the star flaunted her generous curves in a sizzling post.

The shoe designer also flashed a little thigh as she perched on a chair beside a counter-top of styling tools.

Meanwhile, the mother-of-two faced some backlash in recent weeks after she let her daughter wear make-up.

She shared an Instagram of her 'mommy-daughter day' with Maxwell trying on products inside of MAC Cosmetics, which the singer gushed was Maxwell's 'favorite store.'

Jessica's followers hit out at her for letting her daughter wear make-up saying: 'She's to young for make-up. Your going to regret it. Trust me.'
