They are one of the most glamorous celebrity power couples of the past year.

But when Jennifer Lopez stuck to a decidedly casual ensemble as she stepped out with her suited and booted beau Alex Rodriguez on a stroll around New York City on Sunday night.

The singer, 48, teamed Niyama Sol leggings with a cozy camel-colored sweater, while her former Yankees star boyfriend, 42, looked dapper in a black suit and tie.

The Jenny From The Block hitmaker kept the winter chill at bay in a padded parka with a fur-lined hood. 

Slicking her hair back into a bun, the mother-of-two rounded of her relaxed ensemble with a stylish pair of high-top sneakers.

A-Rod wore his suit over a purple and white checked shirt and complemented the look with a glinting pair of black dress shoes.

The couple - who went public with their romance in February - looked relaxed in each other's company as they strolled through Manhattan hand-in-hand.

Earlier on Sunday, Jennifer posted an Instagram selfie as she sat in a car wearing a pair of aviator sunglasses. 

'Shady Sunday,' she captioned the snapshot.

On Saturday, she posted an Instagram picture of herself lounging on a sofa with Vanessa Hudgens, 28, who blew a kiss to the camera.

'Love this little one... #secondact #classandsass #mayaandzoe,' she captioned the snap.

The two have formed a close bond while filming upcoming romantic comedy Second Act - in which they play Maya and Zoe respectively - in New York City.    

In the film, Jennifer portrays an ambitious Costco style employee who reinvents her life and heads to Wall Street to prove that street smarts are as valuable as a college degree.

Leah Remini, Vanessa Hudgens and Milo Ventimiglia also star in the Peter Segal-directed comedy, which is said to be in a similar vein to 1988 Oscar-winning movie Working Girl.

Jennifer and Alex were both born in New York City, he in Washington Heights and she in Castle Hill in the Bronx. 

The sportsman was married from 2002 until 2008 to Cynthia Scurtis, while the singer has racked up three ex-husbands; waiter Ojani Noa, backing dancer Cris Judd and musician Marc Anthony.

Jennifer and Marc raise twins Maximilian and Emme, nine, while Cynthia and Alex have two daughters, Natasha, 13, and Ella, nine.
