A man whose lesbian daughter killed herself came out in protest against accused pedophile Roy Moore Monday night, just before the polls opened for the Alabama special election senate race.
Nathan Mathis, 74, brought a sign that read 'Judge Roy Moore called my daughter Pattie Sue Mathis a pervert because she was gay. A 32-year-old Roy Moore dated teenage girls ages 14 to 17. So that makes him a pervert of the worst kind. Please don't vote for Roy Moore!'
A photo of Mathis protesting while holding a photo of his late daughter outside of Moore's campaign rally was quickly circulated. He spoke to CNN's 'New Day' about Moore, who is staunchly against LGBT rights.

Moore (center) has been accused of sexual contact with a woman who was 14-years-old at the time while he was in his 30s
Mathis, who is a local peanut farmer, said Moore should 'be in a psych ward somewhere with a psychiatrist trying to help him get better.'
'I feel guilty about my daughter taking her own life, about what I said,' Mathis told CNN. He had previously sought help to 'fix' his gay daughter, before she committed suicide at 23-years-old.
He wrote a poignant op-ed about his previous anti-LGBT stand and his daughter's 1995 suicide in the Dothan Eagle.
Mathis railed against Moore and accused him of being a hypocrite to the LGBT community in light of the allegations against him.
Moore has denied molesting a 14-year-old when he was in his 30's. He's also denied allegations brought against him by other women that said he pursued them while they were in their teens, and he was in his 30's.
'He don't need to be in Washington DC,' Mathis said.
'What happened to me could happen to you. It could happen to anybody that's watching this program,' he said. 'It could be your child, your grandchild, your great-grandchild. Are you going to vote for a man that calls your child or grandchild a pervert just because they're born gay?'
'My daughter was a good person,' he continued to CNN. 'My daughter was not no damn pervert, as Roy Moore called her. And Roy Moore, by going at little teenage girls, he does not deserve to be the in United States Senate. It's just that simple.'
In 2005 Moore said 'homosexual conduct should be illegal.'
Mathis says he regretted making his daughter feel bad for being a lesbian, and is lashing out against Moore's anti-LGBT stance in light of the allegations of pedophilia against Moore
Moore pulled up to the polls Tuesday morning on his horse named Sassy as he faces off against Democratic candidate Doug Jones
More recently, in September of 2016, Moore was suspended from the bench for telling probate judges to defy federal orders regarding gay marriage.
Tuesday morning, Moore galloped to the polls on his horse Sassy, to cast his vote against Democrat Doug Jones in the special election.
It has been a tough road for Moore, despite President Donald Trump giving him his endorsement.
'We've seen things happen in this campaign that I can't believe to this day,' said Moore, who has denied all wrongdoing in contacts with the women who said he behaved inappropriately when they were in their teens and he was a local prosecutor in his 30s. One said he initiated sexual contact when she was 14.
Then he held a rally which saw his wife defend him against anti-semitism and his Vietnam veteran best friend offer an extraordinary defense against the pedophilia claims, saying they had visited an underage brothel - but left.
