They're preparing to celebrate their first festive season as a couple after going public with their romance in February.

And Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez seemed full of holiday spirit as they decorated their Christmas tree alongside the singer's twins Max and Emme, nine, in New York City on Monday night.

Taking to her Instagram stories to document the fun-filled evening, the Jenny From The Block hitmaker, 48, looked as though she was having a blast as she oversaw the project.

The Shades Of Blue was in a cozy and comfortable outfit for her festive night in, dressed in a white turtleneck sweater and black skinny jeans.

The mother-of-two wore a pair of towering platform boots and accessorized with gold hoop earrings.

Jennifer wore her long brunette hair in loose waves, and opted for low-key make-up to accentuate her stunning features.

Former New York Yankees star Alex, 42, was casual in Adidas sweats and a T-shirt that said #GetYourMindRight.

Emme matched mom in a white turtleneck, while Max wore an adorable horizontal striped sweater.

Tiana Rios, cousin and assistant to Jennifer, also joined in the festive decorating party.

Alex and Jennifer went public with their romance in February and have moved at a swift pace, having already moved in together.

A source recently told E! the sportsman is preparing to propose any day now.

Speaking to HOLA! USA in September, Jennifer said of the romance: 'I'm in a good relationship. I feel like I can say that for the first time - I don't know - maybe ever.

'And not that I didn't have great relationships, full of love and adventure, but this is the first relationship I've been where I feel like we really make each other better.

'We complement each other, and there's really pure, true love' she added, 'Just wanting to support the other person and make them happy.

'So there's a different selflessness in the love that's beautiful and different. And healthy!'

Calling this period of her life 'a golden era', she added: 'I am shining brighter than I ever have - that I’m better as a person, as a daughter, as a mother, as a friend, as a partner.'

Jennifer shares twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony, 49, who she was married to for a decade from 2004 to 2014.

The star was previously engaged to Ben Affleck, 45, for two years from 2002 to 2004, earning them the tabloid nickname Bennifer.

Jennifer was also formerly married to waiter Ojani Noa for just over a year in 1997, and to dancer Cris Judd from 2001 to 2003.

Alex has daughters Natasha, 13, and Ella, nine, with ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis, who he was married to from 2002 to 2008.

The Selena actress announced just days ago that she would be ending her residency in Las Vegas next year.

Her final performances at The AXIS at Planet Hollywood will be from June 13 to September 29, 2018.

'Performing All I Have in Vegas over the last few years has been an incredible and rewarding experience that I won’t soon forget,' the singer said in a statement.

'Some of the best memories on stage from my career will forever be equated with this city. Thank you to all my fans who traveled far and wide to experience the show with me.'

Jennifer is currently hard at work filming Second Act with Vanessa Hudgens and Leah Remini in New York.
