Destroyer follows the story of police detective Erin Bell, played by Kidman, who reconnects with people from an undercover assignment from her past that concerned a cult-like gang and had tragic results.
According to Deadline, the leader of that same gang re-emerges years later and Bell if forced to re-address her history and the gang's remaining members in order to 'reckon with the demons that destroyed her past'.
In addition to being hard at work on Destroyer, set for a 2018 release, Nicole has been seen on hit HBO series Big Little Lies.
