Omarosa leaving Trump administration after Moore fiasco

Omarosa Manigault is leaving the administration on the anniversary of President Donald Trump 's inauguration - and a handful of other aides are expected to follow suit. A senior White House official told DailyMail.com that Manigault had a chance to speak to the president, whom she appeared with on the reality television show The Apprentice, and is leaving his service on positive terms. Manigault opted to leave after the president endorsed an Alabama Republican accused of sexually assaulting and harassing teens. Moore was also hit with charges of racism after he said in unearthed remarks that the 10th Amendment should be abolished. 'After Roy Moore, enough was enough,' the aide said. The White House has yet to comment on the forthcoming departure of the 43-year-old staffer who quickly became a lightning rod for controversy in the Trump administration.

Mimi O'Donnell details her 15-year relationship with the Oscar-winning actor, which began when she applied for a job as a costume designer at his theater company and ended in February 2014 when he was found dead in his New York City apartment. In the months before that overdose, O'Donnell says that she became increasingly concerned about Hoffman's relapse following 20 years of sobriety, but thought things were improving as Hoffman planned to enter rehab following completion of his work in the final installment of The Hunger Games trilogy. 'As soon as Phil started using heroin again, I sensed it, terrified. I told him, “You’re going to die. That’s what happens with heroin,'" says O'Donnell.

PIERS MORGAN: Backing Roy Moore was DUMB. Dump Bannon!

OUCH! What a stunning win for the Democrats, and what a thumping loss for the Republicans. Alabama turned blue in an earthquake Tuesday night, and President Trump has only himself to blame. He should never have backed such a wretched horse. Roy Moore is a dumb, vile, racist, homophobic, anti-semitic, sexist Islamophobe. All is not lost for Trump though. He has been achieving considerable success in delivering on campaign promises. Moore's defeat will sting and hurt him but he may also help him in the long run, if he heeds the lessons from it.

Social media users were quick to make fun of Roy Moore’s riding style as he appeared to lose control of his horse after speaking with reporters on his way to vote in Gallant, Alabama, on Monday. Horse Twitter, as it's called, was harsh in its criticism, calling Moore a 'fake cowboy' and saying he held the reins wrong, pulled too hard on the bit and leaned too far forward. Some even raised concern for the horse, which is named 'Sassy’, saying it was too small for him, or could buck at any minute.

Incredible moment Ana Navarro loses it with 'mansplaining' fellow Republican Ed Martin on CNN and begins to sing 'Oh Happy Day' over him as she celebrates Roy Moore's defeat

The Republican strategist Navarro's outburst came late Tuesday night on CNN Tonight with Don Lemon, as the panel discussed Roy Moore's loss to Democrat Doug Jones in Alabama's special senate election. Navarro, who is vehemently opposed to President Donald Trump despite her party affiliation, was crowing over Alabama voters' choice against Moore, who was accused of sexually touching a 14-year-old in his 30s. 'They had a choice as to whether to abandon a candidate or abandon morals, abandon a candiate or abandon decency,' Navarro boomed as Martin tried to interject. 'Please don't, don't do this, it really annoys me I really don't interrupt you,' said Navarro, a former advisor to Jeb Bush. 'I'm so through with your mansplaining and your smirking and laughing,' she continued before chanting 'oh happy day' as she clapped and swayed.

'That is not the law. You don't know that?' Jake Tapper schools speechless Roy Moore surrogate who thought public officials had to be sworn in ONLY on a Christian Bible

Appearing on The Lead tonight, former county commissioner Ted Crockett defended Moore's position that Muslim congressman should not be allowed in the United States. Tapper says: 'The law is not that you have to swear on a Christian Bible. That is not the law.' Crockett sits silently with his mouth agape. Tapper prods: 'You don't know that?'

But these snaps shared online around the world prove an unfortunate angle can have consequences that are infinitely worse. Clockwise from top left: It's her knees you're looking at; it's a palm tree, nothing more; you might think the girl in the background is exposing more than she intended - but it's the photographer's armpit; look closely and you'll see no-one is naked in this snap; it's German sausage, honest; it was a case of unfortunate timing for this hapless weatherman.
