'My little boy had a little time with her but she wasn't able to speak to him. She passed away just before 6pm last night [Friday]. There was a real sense of peace. Today is the hardest pain I have ever felt ever.'

Meanwhile, Mr Thomas today hit out at Amazon after a courier left a parcel delivery on his front doorstep.
Posting a picture of the large package, for Ethan's Christmas, he wrote: '@AmazonUK My sons Christmas present. Your delivery driver might as well put a label on it saying help yourself and Happy Christmas to whoever fancies walking off with this!'
Amazon responded, saying: 'Oh no! I'm so sorry your package was left in this manor! Were the contents broken or damaged? Has a safe place been set for unattended packages?'
But Mr Thomas hit back, writing: 'The thing is you’re not sorry. You need to stop promising delivery dates that put the couriers under such pressure that they haven’t time to walk another 12 yards to put it in the "safe" place.'
