The Grifters actress had her brown locks parted to the side, wearing clear glasses and accessorizing with a gold rose ring and diamond rings

Beatty, 80, was his debonair self in a black suit with a dark grey-button-up shirt and light grey tie at the glitzy gathering.

The four-time Academy Award nominee followed in the footsteps of past stars including Tom Hanks, Julianne Moore, Robert De Niro, Tom Cruise, and Beatty himself, in receiving the honors.

The museum's Michael Barker called Bening 'one of America’s finest living actresses' in a statement last month announcing her well-deserved induction, hailing her breadth of work.

'From her Broadway debut in Tina Howe’s Coastal Disturbances to her emotionally complex performance last year in 20th Century Women and now as movie star Gloria Grahame in the upcoming Film Stars Don’t Die in Liverpool, her stunning range as an actress has always been staggering and uncompromising,' Barker said.

'We at the Museum of the Moving Image have wanted to honor her for some time but there is no question in our minds that this is so obviously her moment.'
