Parents' fury as Aldi's sell-out TV-ad carrot toys appear on eBay for up to £1,000 after sparking lengthy queues and even SCRUMS in stores
- The toys of Kevin and Katy Carrot's babies have been called 'must-have' presents
- They sold out in seconds and then appeared on auction website eBay
- The babies are the stars of Aldi's second Christmas advert
They're the adorable stars of Aldi's Christmas adverts, and have won over the hearts of customers with their love story.
But Kevin and Katy the carrot - and their babies - are now making shoppers furious as £2.99 cuddly versions of the couple's orange children are being sold on eBay for up to £1,000.
Families desperate to get their hands on the cuddly carrot toys of 'Chantenay,' 'Jasper,' and 'Baby' said they were sold out in seconds.
But they soon appeared on the auction website at hugely inflated prices, ranging from £15,99 and £25.99 to whopping £1,000.

Desperate customers trying to get their hands on the toys have now set up Facebook groups dedicated to finding the baby carrot toys in stock.
One has 693 members who stalk the web to find the vegetable plushies.
Prices on eBay range from just 99p to between £50 and £175, with one seller trying to flog the toys for £1,000.
The carrot babies featured in the second installment of Aldi's Christmas advert this year, which revealed that Kevin and Katy had children after meeting and falling in love in the first campaign.
The toys are of Kevin and Katy's three 'children': Chantenay, Jasper, and 'Baby Carrot'

To coincide with the advert, Aldi released toys of the adorable babies in stores and they quickly became a must-have Christmas item.
Shoppers were reported to form long queues in order to buy the toys on the day of release, and some said stores resembled a 'scrum'.
Demand was so high for the toys that stores had to limit customers to two toy purchases per shopping trip.
The products are sold in support of Aldi's charity partner, Teenage Cancer Trust.
An Aldi spokesman said: 'Demand for our Plush Carrot Kids has been exceptionally high and we are sorry if customers were unable to purchase these products.
'We had a significant amount available in all of our stores and purchases were limited to two of each variant per customer.
'However, as with all our Specialbuy products, they are only available while stocks last.'
Though currently sold out, LatestDeals.co.uk has created an online tool that allows eager shoppers to check when the toys come back into stock.
