Diane Kruger dazzles in a polka-dot dress and yellow heels as she reveals she 'reconnected' with her German roots while shooting In The Fade
She has reason to celebrate after her latest project, In The Fade, was nominated for the Best Motion Picture - Foreign Language Golden Globe earlier this week.
And Diane Kruger turned heads as she appeared on Good Morning America in New York City on Thursday to discuss her first German-speaking role with host Michael Strahan.
The actress, 41, looked chic in a white polka dot dress by Jason Wu and bright yellow stiletto heels by Christian Louboutin as she made a glamorous arrival at the studios.

Look spot on like Diane in a dress by Jason Wu
Diane Kruger recently appeared on Good Morning America looking as stylish as ever.
The actress opted for a monochrome midi dress by Jason Wu. Hot off the spring 2018 catwalk, this floaty number features an attractive contrast print, cut-out waist, thigh slit and lace-up detailing, creating a sexy yet sweet aesthetic. It’s a stunning piece that also works well for this time of year – as Diane proves.
She added a classic black midi coat and continued the summery feel with mustard heels and scarlet handbag.

Diane plays Katja, who is seeking revenge after a bombing that kills her husband and young son.
The film is spoken entirely in German — Diane's first language.
In her interview with GMA she told Strahan what it felt like to do a film in her native tongue.
‘I left Germany 25 years ago and I wasn’t an actor when I left,’ she said. ‘It was amazing to go back. I felt like I was in my place. I reconnected with my roots.’

The actress never anticipated that the film would be selected to screen at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival, let alone that she’d win an award.
Director Faith Akin made a bet with Kruger; if the film was admitted she had to get a tattoo.
She lost gracefully and got her ink - a small anchor on her ankle, which she told Variety was a painful experience.
‘It hurt like hell,’ Diane said. ‘It’s all right. It wouldn’t have been my first choice, but I think it’s important to keep bets.’
The actress went public with her romance with The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus, 48, in March.
