In an interview with The Sun in October, the Australian pop star confessed that her new album helped her with healing from her recent break-up, as she found the process 'cathartic'.

Speaking about her new record, Kylie told the newspaper: 'There’s a little bit of heartbreak, I would say.'

The former couple announced their engagement in 2016, putting a notice in the marriages section of the UK's Daily Telegraph.

It is thought the couple may have chosen to announce their engagement in the Telegraph because of Joshua's family links to the newspaper.

The pair first met in September 2015 when Kylie filmed scenes for Galavant.
