And Lil' Kim stayed true to form on Thursday evening, when she took to the stage in eye-catching style for radio station Hot 97's annual Hot For The Holidays concert in New Jersey.

The 42-year-old Crush On You rapper turned heads as she stepped out onstage at Newark's Prudential Center wearing a deeply plunging PVC catsuit, which featured bright blocks of multiple colours, including red, pink and blue.

Covering up her diminutive frame in an oversized white faux fur coat, the Brooklyn native performed alongside fellow hip-hop star Remy Ma, with whom she recently teamed for Wake Me Up - a track in which they take swipes at Nicki Minaj.

For the occasion, Lil' Kim - real name Kimberly Jones - kept her look festive with the addition of a beaded necklace, while her raven tresses rested on her ample bosom.

Her makeup palette included long eye-lash extensions, a deep blush and shimmering nude lipstick as she entertained crowds at the show, which included appearances by Chris Brown, Cardi B, Fat Joe, 21 Savage and Yo Gotti.

In a 2005 interview with popular radio host Angie Martinez, the mother-of-one revealed that she went under the knife after an abusive boyfriend broke her nose - and insisted that she was unfazed about the speculation over her changing looks.
