'She sings like an angel!': Proud father Joel Madden says his six-year-old little girl Harlow has inherited his vocal talent
With a grandfather like Lionel Richie and a father like Joel Madden it's really no surprise that there is another singing sensation in the family.
Good Charlotte rocker Joel revealed his little girl Harlow has advance skills in the vocal department, already at the age of six.
'My daughter can sing like an angel,' he on Nine's Mornings on Friday, alongside twin brother Benji and fellow The Voice Kids Australia coach Melanie 'Mel B' Brown.
Talented family! 'My daughter sings like an angel,' Joel said speaking about Harlow on Nine's Mornings on Friday alongside twin brother Benji and fellow The Voice Kids Australia coach Melanie 'Mel B' Brown
Like father like daughter: The famous singer gushed about his only daughter's talent and said 'the bravado in Harlow's voice is already happening'
'The bravado in her voice is already happening. It's amazing at just six-years-old,' he added about his only daughter with fashionista wife Nicole Richie.
Joel, who also has a four-year-old boy called Sparrow with Nicole, said he would encourage both their talents.
'I think I'm going to nurture their artistic and creativity and they'll be able to decide when they're 18,' he said.
Benji also revealed that Joel thinks he's more important that him now he's a father.
'Now he has kids he thinks his life is more important than mine,' the 35-year-old said, explaining he uses 'the father card' to overwrite Benji's decisions.
Meanwhile, the biggest fan of the Madden brother's music is their mother Robin, but she's not so in love with their vast array of tattoos.
Speaking to Richard Wilkins on the Today Show also on Friday morning, Benji and Joel said they grew up with conservative, religious parents who wouldn't even allow them listen to modern music.
'We weren't allowed listen to contemporary music. It was because we grew up in a really religious household so any new music was bad,' The Voice Kids coaches said.
'Maybe they see all your tattoos and think you're not nice?' Joel and Benji Madden's biggest music fan is their mother but she's not so mad about their body ink

'But the Beach Boys and The Beatles and a lot of the classics were okay, so we listened to those,' the boys added as they revealed that's where they got the inspiration for their latest song, We Are Done.
Their mother calls their music, even their Good Charlotte rock songs, 'neat' and tells her two boys all the time: 'You guys are so talented'.
But she worries when their music gets criticised: 'She is terrified of attack as she thinks every song is amazing'.
'We'll say: "The critics didn't really like this record," and she'll say: "Oh, they just don't know you. If they got to know you they would understand. Maybe they see all those tattoos and they think you're not as nice as you are,"' they laughed.
Damn critics! Their mother, Robin, worries about them when their music gets criticised
The twins also shared some news that Good Charlotte fans might not want to hear.
'Good Charlotte is in the past for us now,' they said suggesting that they are done with the rock band that made them famous.
However, to make things obscure and to open up the possibility of a comeback gig they then added: 'It's something that's never going to be done'.
They did acknowledge that the band, which also features bass guitarist Paul Thomas, rhythm guitarist and keyboardist Billy Martin and drummer Dean Butterworth, changed their lives.
'When we started we were in a really rough spot. It took us out of one life and into another.'

Absolutely adore Joel since he has been on The Voice OZ.. and we do like Benji too, as he was on it it too...having said that, talent comes from exposure to talent not biology..so the kids' of joel and nicole have obviously been exposed to music from joel, benji and lionel...WHAT IS THE PROBLEM with that???And Joel, be very careful with that toothpick, especially after that chair fall in season 3...I luv the Madden Bros, hope you guys stay here a little longer and make OZ your home...eventually of course!
