And Jeff Goldblum and his wife Emilie Livingston showed how in sync they are as a couple as they donned strikingly similar outfits to jet out for LAX on Thursday. 

The 65-year-old actor and his Olympic gymnast spouse, 34, caught the eye in dark shirts and black skinny jeans as they headed off for the solo trip without their two boys Charlie Ocean, two and River Joe, eight months.

The veteran entertainer wore a black leather jacket over a black turtleneck shirt, black jeans and dark-rimmed eyeglasses with black boots as he pulled a silver carry-on suitcase. 

Emilie, a Canadian rhythmic gymnast, wore a navy blue coat over a black top with black Calvin Klein pants tucked into black boots. 

The gifted athlete, who participated in the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Australia when she was just 17 - wore brown glasses with a navy blue beret covering her hair, which was styled into a braided ponytail.

She had a black purse over her shoulder and carried a black carry-on suitcase.

Jeff showed off how down-to-earth he is earlier this month in the small Washington state town of Sequim, where he was in town to film an upcoming period piece called The Mountain. 

On December 5 Jeff enjoyed a two-hour dinner at a local eatery called Blondie's Plate with the film's director Rick Alverson and co-star Tye Sheridan, according to the Sequim Gazette.

Bartender Darren Stephens said that the actor was gregarious when he praised films such as The Fly and The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension.

The bartender said Goldblum 'loved that someone still talks about his old sci-fi movies.'

Emilie and the 6ft4 star, who played the Grandmaster in movies this year such as Thor: Ragnarok and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, have two young sons: Charlie Ocean, two, and River, eight months.

The Independence Day actor is in his third marriage with Emilie, who he tied the knot with in November of 2014 at the West Hollywood celebrity haunt, the Chateau Marmont.

The Big Chill star was previously married to actress Geena Davis from 1987 to 1990 and Patricia Gaul from 1980 until 1986.
