She's a busy mother to two young children, juggling family life alongside her acting career. 

And Jordana Brewster took some time out of her busy schedule on Wednesday to spend a mother and son day with her eldest son Julian in LA.

The 37-year-old Panamanian beauty cut a casual figure as she took Julian, 4, for lunch.

Oozing understated style, the Fast and Furious star slipped into a pair of mustard satin culottes and trendy slip on loafers for the occasion.

The brunette, who also shares 14-month-old Rowan with husband Andrew Form, teamed it with a loose black t-shirt and shades, as she was joined by her cute son, clad in a red and black checked shirt.

Jordana, who has been married to movie producer Andrew for 10 years, is back on television in the Fox reboot of Lethal Weapon.

Go for a touch of velvet like Jordana in Madewell

When it comes to textures for AW17, velvet is definitely up there as a designer favourite. The luxe material has been a massive hit both on the runways and the high street over the last few weeks and the latest star to work the trend is actress Jordana.

The celeb was spotted rocking a bold mustard hued pair of velveteen cropped trousers, which she styled up nicely with a pair of Gucci loafers and a simple slouchy tee.

Speaking to Fox Newsin April, said that as Rowan gets bigger, she reminds herself to be conscientious of the words she uses, causing her to self-censor, which she said is 'super-difficult.

'I’ll say something, and then a month later, it just comes out of his mouth!' she told the outlet. 'It’s hard! I’m a New Yorker, I’m all about speaking my mind and saying whatever I want.'

The Secrets and Lies beauty said she's taken various measure to make sure little Rowan doesn't catch on to her potty mouth.

'I’m trying to teach him Portuguese words, like naughty words in Portuguese because he won’t get in trouble for saying those,' Jordana said. 'I also spell things out when I’m having a conversation with my husband.'

As she gears up for the second season of Lethal Weapon, she said that she's into playing her character, a police psychologist named Dr. Maureen Cahill, for various reasons.

'She’s a multi-faceted therapist who has the upper hand on things, but takes her time to observe and analyze,' she told the outlet. 'I really love that because she’s so much more than just another supporting girlfriend or wife.'

The show, which also stars Damon Wayans and Clayne Crawford, returns to Fox for its second season debut September 26 at 8/7c.
