But Rosamund Pike appeared ever the movie star Monday in NYC, where she turned heads in a black and white during a special screening of her new period drama.
The Gone Girl star, 38, actress flaunted her standout style donning an elegant monochrome design from Givenchy which featured a plunging neckline along with plenty of pleats and ruffles while on the red carpet.

The story was conceived by Academy Award-winning screenwriter Donald E. Stewart, who has worked on hits like Patriot Games, Hunt For Red October and the 1982 film Missing, for which he was awarded his Oscar.
The period drama first premiered at Telluride Film Festival in Colorado on September 2.
Hostiles gets its theatrical debut Friday December 22 in the US.
