Dapper Amir Khan beams as he joins pregnant wife Faryal Makhdoom at Sports Personality Of The Year Awards... as they make first red carpet appearance since reuniting

He announced he was going to get back with his wife just days before jetting to the Australian jungle to take part in I'm A Celebrity, which saw him come in fifth place.

And Amir Khan put on a united front with Faryal Makhdoom as the couple headed to the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Awards for their first red carpet appearance since getting back together on Sunday.

Despite leaving the jungle a week ago, the 30-year-old boxer only recently reunited with the American-Pakistani model, having stopped off in Dubai following his jungle stint.

Faryal, 26, proudly displayed her blossoming bump in a silky black jumpsuit as she cosied up to her husband.

The sultry ensemble showed off her sensational physique, skimming over her bump with a patent black belt before tailoring into fitted trousers.

She oozed glamour on the red carpet, adding a boost to her height with ruffled stiletto heels and complementing the look with a black snakeskin clutch.

The raven-haired beauty showed off her model looks with heavily contoured cheeks, smoldering black eyeliner and a matte pink lip.

Meanwhile, Amir looked worlds away from his jungle appearance as he sported a fitted black suit and crisp white shirt.

The boxing ace reunited with Faryal on Saturday, as she surprised her husband with a jungle themed party to welcome him home.

Posting a photo with the raven-haired beauty, he captioned it: 'Surprised me with a jungle party/birthday party. Here’s a pic of me and @faryalmakhdoom. (Don’t eat my strawberries) thanks @newdhanakdeira amazing place.'

Behind him in the photo was a banner that read: 'Watch your strawberries! He's back!'

This was a nod to StrawberryGate - which saw him and Iain Lee swipe the prize after a Dingo Dollar Challenge and chow down on stawberries and cream behind the camp's back.

After his jungle exit, Amir didn't hurry home though to see Faryal or their three-year-old daughter Lamaisah.

Instead the reality star jetted to Dubai - and was seen partying with the air stewardesses in the first class cabin as he traveled, posting the encounter on social media.

Whilst on board the Emirates flight, Amir uploaded shots of himself with a bevy of cabin crew, all larking around with him. He also nipped behind the on-board bar for a snap.

'Nice to see the emirates girls,' was his photo caption.

Faryal and Lamaisah stayed home in the UK while Amir took part on the ITV reality series, with his father Shah jetting over to support him instead, welcoming him when he crossed the famous jungle bridge back to normality.

Amir's decision to stop over in Dubai comes after he was offered tickets to the T10 cricket in the UAE; but he has insisted he was skipping the event to get home to his family.

He has supposedly stopped over to meet up with pals, however.

Revealing his plans on Snapchat, Amir wrote: 'Just landed in Dubai, thanks for the T10 cricket invites but man needs to go Home, I've been away for 5 weeks.

'Leave Australia today. Thanks for having me. Next stop Dubai then Manchester see you all on Friday morning,' he wrote.

'The last month's been amazing with jungle experience and seeing Australia. Excited to see my little one and family and have some proper food (no rice & beans).'

It comes after he vowed he would stay with Faryal, 26, forever, following their very public spat over the summer.

Their ugly split was played out in the public eye, before she announced her shock pregnancy and they reconciled.

And now speaking to The Sun, Amir revealed: 'Family-wise being in the jungle has made me realise how important they are to me. In a weird way being away from them has made me feel closer to them.

'I definitely have more appreciation for my little girl and my wife Faryal, because I wasn’t around them. I was so far away. I missed them like crazy.

'I don’t think we’ll break up again now, we both know how much we need each other. It was a bit of a wake-up call for us both and it will only make us stronger,' it was concluded.

Faryal was embroiled in a bitter feud with the boxer's family, culminating in his family branding her 'evil' and the sports star announcing his intentions to divorce her.

However, Amir has now proven that he is smitten with the Brooklyn-born beauty and intends on staying with her for life.

The American-Pakistani model also reassured fans that the couple were over their differences.

'We all do stupid things in life. I think people read things and you don't mean it like that,' she said on social media.

'He's a good, good guy and I'm glad he's on TV so people can see the real side of him. Sometimes people judge you without knowing you,' Makhdoom added.
