'He's smitten!' Emmerdale's Anthony Quinlan is 'dating new Strictly siren Dianne Buswell after being introduced by co-star Gemma Atkinson'

She's was one of the new sirens to hit the floor on this year's Strictly Come Dancing. 

And Aussie dancing pro Dianne Buswell, 28, has put another famous man in a spin after enjoying several dates with Emmerdale star Anthony Quinlan.

The actor, 33, who currently stars as Pete Barton on the ITV soap, is said to be 'smitten' with the red head after being introduced to the pro-dancer by his co-star, Strictly finalist Gemma Atkinson.

Gemma also starred alongside Anthony in Hollyoaks, and her turn as Cupid looked like it worked wonders for the actor and Dianne, as they allegedly cosied up to one another during Saturday's Strictly final.

Dianne dashed off to greet Anthony with a hug at one point during the evening, and even met his close friend Jamie Lomas, who also joined the audience fresh off his stint in I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here. 

A source told The Sun that: 'Anthony and Dianne looked very cosy on Saturday night in the studio. He has told pals he is really into her and made the trip down to London to see her.

'He brought Jamie with him but only had eyes for Dianne.

'During rehearsals, she darted off the dancefloor and ran straight up to him in the crowd to give him a cuddle.

According to the source, the pair seemed very close at the show's after party and didn't care who saw them together.

Dianne worked on the Australian version of the hit BBC show before landing a role on Strictly.

Her time on the latest season of the show was cut short after she and her partner, Reverend Richard Coles got the axe in week three. 

Soap actor Anthony had a small role on BBC's Doctors before heading over to the Yorkshire-based soap. 

While on Hollyoaks as Gilly Roach, Anthony was nominated for sexiest male at the 2010 Inside Soap Awards, while also gaining a nomination for Best Actor at the British Soap Awards the following year.
