The director announced in November that- after completing the film - he would reshoot scenes with Plummer after allegations of sexual misconduct against Kevin Spacey surfaced.

Kevin starred as the late oil tycoon in the film about the Italian kidnapping of John Paul Getty III, and his rich grandfather's refusal to a $17 million ransom despite being the richest man in the world.

Spacey issued an apology for the first reported incident, involving actor Anthony Rapp, and has since been accused of misconduct by more than 30 men and dropped from the next season of Netflix TV series House of Cards.
