The 53-year-old Friends vet looked half her age on Monday as she headed to a market in Malibu for some shopping.

The girlfriend of Johnny McDaid had little makeup on and her hair down for the casual outing.

‘I think getting older is just hard in general. I feel like I’m 34, so the thought that I’m not just doesn’t seem natural,’ she said.

‘I feel better than I’ve ever felt in my entire life. I take much better care of myself now.

'But Hollywood—this business—makes it harder. I grew up thinking that appearance was the most important thing. That’s kind of sad because it got me in trouble. I was trying so hard to keep up, and I actually made things worse.’

She goes on to tell NB magazine that her father had a huge influence in the way she determined beauty as a young woman.

‘My father, who’s no longer with us, was the most fun and charismatic person, but he talked about looks a lot.

Cox recently revealed to NewBeauty magazine that she wouldn’t mind having a baby with McDaid; seen in 2015

'He felt that was an important topic in our family—what people looked like and who didn’t look so good. That’s not a great thing to reveal about your childhood.’

The Hollywood icon went on to find a man who wasn't as critical about outward appearances. She told the magazine just how her boyfriend McDaid makes her feel beautiful.

‘Well, he’s younger than me, and with any other guy that would be the hardest thing in the world, but looks are not that important to him or his family,’ Courteney said.

‘External beauty isn’t even on his radar. I used to worry about the age difference, but I don’t think it matters. He appreciates beauty, but it’s deeper than that. It’s deeper for me too, but luckily I find him gorgeous and extremely sexy.’

Cox was formerly married to David Arquette—they share daughter Coco, age 13, together.

McDaid and the Scream actress linked up in 2014 following her divorce in 2013. She recently revealed that she wouldn’t mind having a baby with the Snow Patrol musician.
