B&Q has recalled remote control plug multipacks amid fears that they could catch fire.
The retailer has urged customers to immediately switch off and return the affected products.

A statement said that some of them were affected by 'excessive heat build-up inside the plug' which could 'cause items in contact with them to ignite'.

B&Q added: 'Again, there is a potential fire risk so if you, or someone you know, has bought one of these products, stop using it.
'Switch it off at the wall then remove the plug and return it to your local B&Q store where we will fully refund you and answer any further questions you may have.'
