Cat Deeley wraps up in a scarlet coat as she joins fellow TV host Emma Willis at St Paul's Christmas Carol Concert

She's been spending the past few weeks in her native England, after jetting over from her sun-soaked adopted hometown of Los Angeles.

And Cat Deeley dedicated her time to a good cause on Tuesday evening, when she attended the St. Paul's Christmas Carol Concert in London, held in aid of Unicef UK's Syria Winter Appeal.

The 41-year-old TV personality, herself a Unicef UK ambassador, stood out for the occasion, wrapping up warm in a scarlet woollen coat with over-the-knee black leather boots, as she joined fellow host Emma Willis at St. Paul's Cathedral.

Big Brother host Emma, 41, looked typically chic in a black faux fur-lined coat over a patterned semi-sheer top, teamed with skinny jeans and suede boots.

At the charity event, they were joined by a host of familiar faces, including Unicef UK president Kirsty Young and Unicef UK ambassador Jessie Ware, who performed.

Cat took to the altar to recite A Family Christmas, a poem by Ernestine Northover, for the audience.

So You Think You Can Dance host Cat appeared to leave her husband Patrick Kielty and their one-year-old son Milo at home for the occasion.

She has recently returned to UK screens on Sky 1 show Sing: Ultimate A Cappella.

Earlier this year, Patrick opened up about family life in the couple's Los Angeles home, telling talk show host Lorraine Kelly: 'Milo basically runs the house... We call him the Fresh Prince Of Bel Air because he gets whatever he wants.

'You suddenly realise when you get married, you're number one. Then a kid [comes along] and you're number two, then a dog you're number three, and you spend your life going down the pecking order.'

'There was always a little bit of a spark between us but either she was with someone or I was with someone and by the time we were both single she was in America', he explained. 'It was always one of those things that never worked out.'
