She's newly separated from husband Chris Pratt.

But Anna Faris seems to be embracing her new relationship - introducing her five-year-old son Jack to her new love, Michael Barrett, and his son.

The couple and their two sons were pictured enjoying a low key lunch at the beach on Friday.

The foursome dined on fish and chips in the outdoor seating area, as the boys got to know one another.

Casually dressed in a white T-shirt and jeans, Anna went to order at the counter.

The meal comes after Anna filed her response to Pratt's divorce papers after the What's Your Number? actress and her 38-year-old husband separated this summer.

According to legal documents obtained by E! News, Anna's filing is identical to the one filed by Chris, with both parties citing 'irreconcilable differences' as the reason for their breakup.

In both papers, the date of separation for the former couple - who got married in July 2009 and share one son - is listed as July 13, 2017.

Meanwhile, it's understood that the pair are seeking joint legal and physical custody of their child.

A source recently told TMZ: 'They have a prenup. [In mirroring divorce documents,] they are both asking for joint custody of five-year-old [son] Jack. We're told the property settlement agreement is almost completely worked out.'

Fans were hoping that the estranged couple would get back together, before Anna, 41, was spotted on a dinner date with cinematographer Michael, 47, back in September.

The pair met on the set of her new movie Overboard and have so far showed no desire to hide their new relationship from eagle-eyed fans and her ex-husband.

Despite this, Anna insists she remains on good terms with her ex.

She said previously: 'We're great. He's amazing. We're great friends and we always will be.'
