Keeping Up With The Kardashians: Kim tells Kris Jenner 'don't be ashamed' as they discuss her sex tape... before Kendall addresses Pepsi ad disaster

The Kardashian family's seemingly unstoppable rise to fame revolutionized the media landscape.

But without a certain infamous sex tape it would never have happened. And Kim was seen telling her mother not to be embarrassed about this fact on Sunday's episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

During media training, the family underwent mock interviews - with trainers pointing out that Kris's eyes looked down when they mentioned Kim's sex tape.

Kim laughed and told Kris: 'Don't be ashamed!' before quickly adding: 'Just kidding.'

The 37-year-old had shocked the rest of her family by insisting they all needed basic media training.

Her sisters seemed against the idea, with Khloe, 33, worried it would 'filter' her and lose the openness her fans love, while Kourtney, 38, worried thinking too much would just make her even more nervous when doing press events.

But it was mom anger Kris Jenner, 62, who came up with the most unexpected excuse as she insisted bluntly: 'I don't want to do media.'

Despite her incredible high-profile, and allowing the world to see her family's most intimate moments she insisted later: 'I think I am enjoying private life to be private when we are off camera and we're not shooting our show.'

She added later: 'I think I've gotten to a place in my life where I just really don't like questions from press and media. It's a lot of work to be front and center - it's easier to stay in the background,' she said, again seemingly blind to her high profile.

Kim replied: 'It is a lot of pressure. But I think it's fascinating that we all have been doing media interviews for a decade and never had media training, and that's usually one of the first things you do when you start off in this business.'

Kim eventually won them over, telling her mom: 'You just have to start being like a boss. You really have to change your whole vibe. It's time.'

Kris and her daughters, minus Kylie, 20, were then shown at the session.

'There may be a legion of people out there who still have the narrative of like, ''So what are you guys famous for, despite being famous?'' he told them, saying interviews allow them to show the world they are 'really savvy, smart businesswoman.'

Kris proved the most hesitant having been stung by personal questions about ex-husband Bruce Jenner and his transformation to becoming Caitlyn.

'There are a few things in my life I don't want to talk about. I'm done,' Kris admitted, with the trainers insisting that proper preparation would change that.

The group was then taken into a separate room to be on camera as they faced tough questions both as a group and one-on-one to see how they reacted to the trainers.

The Kardashian clan pretended to be interviewed by 'Megyn Kelly and Piers Morgan.'

It quickly became apparent that it was actually Kendall Jenner, 22, who had the biggest issues - reacting frostily when asked about her disastrous Pepsi advert and how she appeared 'tone deaf' over its message.

'I think it was definitely a huge learning lesson,' she said, having first attacked the actual question asked for being too 'hypothetical.'

'There were a lot of things that were blinding me. A lot of people I had faith in, a lot of things I had trust in.'

Asked if she blamed her manager - mom Kris - she smiled: 'Actually no, not this time.'

When the group went over the footage, Kendall still seemed frosty at any criticism she got for her body language and response.

She also snapped at sister Kim when she claimed that 'because the Kardashian side is always so open, if that had happened to us we would have spoken straight away' about the scandal, instead of waiting as Kendall had.

'You guys have never dealt with something of this magnitude,' Kendall shot back, clearly unhappy.

Later, she insisted bitterly of the Pepsi experience: 'I've learned the only person who is truly, truly going to look out for me is me. And it is hard work.'

Clearly upset at the process, Kendall was then further angered by texts she got from Kylie over a party they were planning - and stormed out of the session.

'This just killed my vibe. I need to go home,' she said of Kylie's texts.

The rest were asked a series of highly personal questions, including over Caitlyn's transition, the fall-out from her book, the girl's troubled brother Rob, and Scott Disick's drinking and public philandering.

Afterward, Kris said: 'Well, that wasn't fun. But I realized that the only person I can control in how I react or respond to anything is myself. And I truly do see some value in this whole process.

'We live our entire lives in front of the whole world, and questions like this are going to keep coming for as long as I can foresee.

'So it really does help to have some skills under my belt to be able to help convey what I'm trying to say.'

But despite walking out of media training, and telling her sisters she was 'going to kill Kylie,' they quickly kissed and made up.

'Kylie and I, there's always something between her and I,' Kendall said in a confessional.

'That's sister s***. Like we fight and then she literally came over at night and helped me make a whole dinner for me and 20 of my friends. We end up butting heads sometimes, but at the end of the day she's my sister.'

Kim told her: 'Kourtney, Khloe and I get like this all the time.'

In fact, Kourtney and Khloe also seemed set for a falling out as they planned to launch a fitness fashion line together, with Khloe putting on hold a line she had ready for Good American.

'I love working with Kourt, I love that she's passionate and excited about something, so I'm fine tabling my Good American line for a minute,' she said.

The sisters were seen sunbathing in bikinis and working out - laughing as they tried to do cartwheels - but then also bickering as Khloe clearly thought Kourtney was not doing enough to get their project up and running.

When she finally pulled the plug and told Kourtney she was instead going back with her line with Good American, Kourtney surprised her by smiling and saying: 'Go for it girl.'

'I'm not the fastest moving person, and I know that I procrastinate,' she admitted.

'I know that I don't follow through - that's why I need a partner that does those things and pushes me.'

Khloe was then seen in a sexy photoshoot for her line, wearing a skin-tight body suit, saying proudly: 'I don't want to go backward. I really love where I am as a businesswoman right now. I love that my opinions matter and that I'm able to make such strong executive decisions right now.'

Kylie, meanwhile, was planning to stay with Kris while she remodeled her home - shocking her mom when she delivered at least a dozen wardrobe boxes.

'This is suppose to be such a little, temporary thing,' Kris complained later. 'The number of boxes is mind-blowing.
