Thanks to her popularity on This Morning, her regular fashion-led posts on Instagram have become something of a hit among her fans.

But Holly Willoughby wowed her 2.9million followers all the more on Sunday night, when she returned to the image-sharing app to upload a simple selfie in which she was seen going completely makeup-free.

Fans flocked to the 36-year-old TV presenter's page to gush about her natural beauty, which appeared to snatch much attention away from the bright and festive Christmas jumper she was displaying on her social media account.

With her blonde hair tied back, her relaxed look is a world away from the polished appearance fans are accustomed to seeing her sport on This Morning.

On Friday's instalment of the show, she was left in a fit of giggles on a number of occasions during the ITV broadcast alongside her co-host Phillip Schofield.

The duo were forced to film a number of scenes outside in the winter chill and confessing she was forced to take extreme measures to keep the cold at bay, Holly cheekily confessed she had snuck two hand-warmers down her bra, before bursting into hysterics while attempting to stuff a turkey with Jamie Oliver.

In the festive-themed show, Holly and Phil braved the winter chill for a prosecco-tasting segment, as they stepped out in front of the cameras to taste the different bottles of fizz, before joining Rylan on London's Southbank for his showbiz news.

Phillip revealed that This Morning producers had hidden hand-warmers in the duo's coats in order to keep them warm while forced to film outside.

While he told viewers at home that he had found one by his kidney that was 'red-hot', Holly cheekily revealed: 'I can raise yours because I've got one in each glove and also two in my bra.'

The beauty then cheekily joked: 'So if I'm looking a bit flushed you know why!'

Winning a laugh from her close pal and co-star Phil, and no doubt the viewers at home, Holly's confession came after she was seen losing her cool and bursting out laughing at celebrity chef Jamie Oliver.

He was seen caressing a turkey as he prepared the bird for the show's festive food segment and taken aback by the spectacle, Holly couldn't contain herself as she doubled over in hysterics.

Phil appeared to be the same, teasing Jamie as he remarked: 'I feel like I'm peeping through somebody's curtains!'

The pair were then enlisted by Jamie to help him prepare his feast, with Holly getting stuck in by smothering the bird in butter. But the starlet didn't seem to enjoy doing so and was caught pulling grimaces while apologising to the turkey.

Jamie, however, reassured Holly as he told her: 'Don't be shy, darling!'

A comical moment between the duo came as Holly asked Jamie to 'carve' the turkey for her and the viewers at home. Keen to share his expertise, Jamie responded: 'Yeah, let me go and get my chopper out!'

The innuendo didn't go unnoticed by a giggly Holly, as she sniggered at the remark, before lavishing the show's guest with praise and telling Jamie she wanted him to come to her house for Christmas and cook her dinner.

'Jamie you are a legend! This is wonderful,' she gushed, as Phil agreed: 'I just want to sit here and eat it all.'

'Maybe we should,' Holly cheekily replied, before pointing out: 'No one can stop us! If we don't move, they can't stop us!'
