'Look how hot I look': Zoe Saldana makes fun of her green makeup as she gets ready to shoot a scene for Avengers: Infinity War as Gamora

Zoe Saldana has to wear green makeup to play Gamora for Avengers: Infinity War.

The look is a bit frightening for the 39-year-old who normally has cover girl good looks. But the mother-of-three would rather have fun with her scary image than complain.

On Tuesday the actress posted images from the makeup room to her Instagram account with the caption: 'Look how how hot I look.'

The siren added: 'I don't need no touch up.'

In the video she added, 'I don't need to go to no [beauty] salon or anything like that. Look how hot I look! This is amazing.

'Gamora got it going on Bossa Nova style.'

With talent from the film already doing promotion for Infinity War, it is unknown whether the brunette-turned-auburn mane beauty is working on re-shoots.

Her big-screen sister Karen Gillam, who also made an appearance on Saldana's IG story, confirmed the shoot will take an extremely long time and that there would be re-shoots as well.

'So this is the longest shoot in the world,' Gillam told Den of Geek.

'It’s been going since January, and it goes right up until December.

'And then it goes into re-shoots—like immediate, more additional photography—next year.

'So it’s like an ongoing thing, which is really cool, because it feels like a whole family now.'

The New Jersey-born actress traveled to her shoot with her three sons: three-year-old twins Bowie and Zy and one-year-old Zen.

Her twins believe that Gamora is related to Marvel character The Incredible Hulk due to both being green.

She told E!, 'If I start talking really loud they say "mummy Hulk."

'So for some reason they think that Gamora is like family with the Hulk, or that I turn into Hulk when I'm being a mummy. I don't know, but it's hilarious.'
