Beret nice! Vanessa Hudgens channels 1920s chic in a stylish hat, fur coat and fluffy heels as she returns to LA after shooting Second Act in NYC

She wrapped filming on Second Act with Jennifer Lopez in New York on Friday.

But Vanessa Hudgens looked as though she had stepped straight off the set of a 1920s movie as she ran errands in Los Angeles on Monday after returning home to the West Coast after her stint in Manhattan.

The actress, 29, channeled a Downton Abbey-style Flapper look, teaming a camel beret with a cream faux fur jacket and a red and white striped tea dress.

The High School Musical star teamed the vintage look with a very modern trend - sandals that looked more like bedroom slippers with a fluffy pink band over the toes.

Vanessa accessorized with blingy earrings in the shape of a crucifix and a large Gucci tote bag with the words Blind For Love and two red roses embroidered on it.

The brunette was perfectly made up for her outing, with her pout painted red to match the blooms on her bag.

The actress, who catapulted into the limelight in 2006's High School Musical, appeared to be on a solo shopping trip and was making the most of some well-earned free time after finishing shooting her latest project in New York.

There was no sign of her actor beau Austin Butler, 26.

The couple began dating in 2011 and they were spotted out last week enjoying the snowy weather in New York as they walked Vanessa's pet terrier Darla.

The pair both have busy careers to juggle.

Austin stars in TV series The Shannara Chronicles and has completed Dude, about teenage girlfriends dealing with life after high school.

Aside from Second Act, Vanessa stars in TV mini-series Powerless and has Dog Days in post production.

In Second Act, Jennifer, 48, stars as Maya, an employee at a big-box store who reinvents her life and her lifestyle to show Madison Avenue that street smarts can be as valuable as a college degree.

The film also stars Leah Remini, 47, who plays Jennifer's best friend, and Milo Ventimiglia, 40, as the Jenny From The Block hitmaker's onscreen long-term boyfriend.

The film is due to be released in theaters next year but has yet to set a date.
