Oscar winners Cate Blanchett and Sandra Bullock plan a Met Gala heist in the first 15-second teaser for Gary Ross' spin-off Ocean's 8, which Warner Bros. dropped on Monday.

In the feminist flick, 53-year-old Sandra plays Danny Ocean's (George Clooney) estranged sister Debbie while 48-year-old Cate portrays Lou, the equivalent of Brad Pitt's right-hand man character Rusty Ryan.

Lou could be seen studying the seating chart for Hollywood prom aka New York's Costume Institute bash - which had names like Katie Holmes, Jason Statham, and his fiancée Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

Both George Clooney and the Ocean's trilogy director Steven Soderbergh serve as producers on the female-dominated ensemble caper, which will bring back Matt Damon and Carl Reiner.

Ocean's 8 also features Asian-American rapper Awkwafina, Dakota Fanning, Damian Lewis, Richard Armitage, Kim Kardashian West, Kendall & Kylie Jenner, Zayn Malik, Olivia Munn, and Hailey Baldwin.

The teaser arrived four days after Warner Bros. unveiled the movie poster with the tagline: 'Every con has its pros.'

'It's really fun,' Sandra told EW on December 6.

'Imagine all eight of us crammed into a make-up trailer in the morning. You think that it would be disastrous, but it was heaven, all of us just sharing information, all of us doing three jobs with families, our other jobs, the juggling. And then we get to shoot this movie together.'

Ocean's 8 doesn't hit US theaters until June 8, 2018 - but the first full trailer will arrive this Tuesday.
