She raised eyebrows when she famously fainted in Oz just before a Bushtucker Trial on I'm a Celebrity in 2010.

And unfortunately for Gillian McKeith, she accidentally reenacted that moment as she stumbled over on the ice rink at Tulley's Farm in Sussex on Monday.

The TV personality, 58, was enjoying a festive night with daughters Afton, 17, and Skylar, 23, and even sported a Christmas tree costume for the occasion.

Before the unfortunate slip, the Scottish nutritionist kicked the fun into high-gear on the bumper cars in a daringly short green elf minidress.

She showed off her impressively toned legs with festive thigh-high red stripped socks and finished off the lighthearted ensemble with polished black flats.

Her daughters Skylar and Afton also looked adorable in their matching elf outfits, which they changed up three times throughout the evening.

Mum Gillian swapped green for an all red ensemble, with a long crimson coat over her tiny skirt to keep the cold at bay.

In her third and final costume change, the You Are What You Eat host donned a fantastic Christmas Tree costume, topped with a gold star and embellished with tinsel and baubles.

It was the trip onto the ice rink that proved disastrous for Gillian, who looked uneasy as she stepped out onto the ice and quickly lost her footing.

The blonde TV host attempted to get back up before slipping over again, this time not seeming to be able to get her grip back.

Paramedics quickly arrived at the scene with oxygen for the fallen Gillian as she appeared to not be able to get back up on her own, despite her daughter Afton's best efforts.

It's not the first time the author has had a dizzy spell while in front of the cameras, as she was famously fainted while out under the pressure of an impending Bushtucker Trial on the 2010 series of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here.

While contestants and fans alike called Gillian out for potentially faking the fall, she vehemently denied the act was for just for show and confessed she had a history of fainting spells.

She told Heat Magazine at the time: 'The first time I fainted - and it sounds quite hilarious - was when I got excited because I thought I saw Santa Claus.

'All I can say to people is that I've got scoliosis and there's no way in a million years I can risk banging my back. I've only fainted 12 to 15 times in my life. IT has to be something pretty intense.'
