She confirmed her romance with her new beau Henry Frye earlier this week, as the couple held hands in New York.

But Dakota Fanning, 23, cut a dishevelled figure as she touched down at LAX in Los Angeles on Monday.

Clad in a pair of flower-patterned grey trousers and navy jumper, the actress cut a went make-up free as she strolled through the airport.

We're used to seeing Dakota Fanning all gussied up on the red carpet, but when she's off duty she's just like us. She even travels like us! We spot her looking a bit disheveled as she arrives in LAX with a pair of printed joggers, black long sleeve tee and a double breasted coat.

Her feet were encased in a pair of adidas Stan Smith sneakers, a favorite among the celeb set. But on this particular pair, the laces were replaced with velcro straps making getting in and out of these beauties a breeze.

Dakota showcased her natural beauty by opting to forego make-up and left her long blonde tresses wavy.

Despite her dressed down look, Dakota added a touch of glamour to her ensemble with a pink Chanel bag and Louis Vuitton holdall.

The Twilight Saga actress slung a tailored grey coat over her arm and opted for comfort with a pair of white trainers.

It comes as Dakota was spotted holding hands with her beau Henry as they braved the sidewalks of chilly New York City to grab iced drinks on Tuesday.

The I Am Sam star stepped out in a heavy, double breasted, grey wool coat, black pants and white trainers.

Dakota stands at 5ft 4ins tall and her beau, who looked way over 6ft tall, towered over her.

Little is known about Henry aside from the fact he lives in New York and studied at the University of Vermont, according to his Facebook page.

The first photos of the couple popped up on social media on October 15, showing them in a bathroom at The Jane Hotel in the West Village licking each other's faces.

Elle and Henry were then spotted at back-to-back sporting events at Madison Square Garden, first locking lips at a Rangers game and holding hands at the Knicks game.

Meanwhile, the Twilight franchise star has a busy period ahead.

She is appearing in TNT's The Alienist, a murder mystery set in New York during the late 19th century, which is due to premiere on January 22.

Dakota is also co-starring in Ocean's Eight, the all female remake of George Clooney's Ocean's franchise, due out on June 8.
