A mother was left outraged after a stranger's son bit her two-year-old daughter at a soft play centre.
Posting on Mumsnet, she explained how the other mother had apologised, but had not alerted her to the fact that her little girl had been bitten.
She added that the other parent did not tell off her son, but let him carry on playing instead.
While some sympathised with the mother, many on the parenting forum suggested she was over-reacting.

The Mumsnet user, posting under the username Twopeapods, explained how her daughter came running over to her holding her arm, following the incident at the soft play centre.
She recounted: 'Mum catches my eye and said "Sorry it was my little boy that made her cry". I thought he'd hit or pushe dher. And he went back into play.
'Tonight at bath a big purple f****** bite mark. She SEEN him do it. Didn't have the decency to tell me.
'Didn't even give me a proper apology, didn't tell DS [darling son] to say sorry an didn't even tell him off.'

However, many suggested that the mother was over-reacting, suggesting that she needs to 'move on'.
One wrote: 'She did say sorry and told you it was her son, you didn't check. They're 2, it's soft play, it happens.'
Others criticised her for not supervising her own daughter closely enough, while blaming the other parent.
'Really, if you'd been playing with her and supervising closely when you knew that kid was acting up then this wouldn't have happened,' one person commented.
'You can't blame her for not supervising her kid properly when you weren't supervising yours.'
