Jamie Theakston continues to step out without his wedding ring during leisurely stroll with a pal... after joking about THAT night out with colleague Jenni Falconer

He has been laughing off reports with his Heart FM co-host Jenni Falconer in recent weeks after the pair were pictured holding hands following a charity gala.

After putting the furore firmly behind them, Jamie Theakston, 46, was pictured without his wedding ring as he headed out for a stroll with a pal around London's Mayfair on Tuesday. 

The happily married broadcaster was seen pulling a number of faces as he happily chatted with his friend without his band.

Casually clad for the outing, Jamie combated December chill in a grey wool knee-length coat while he draped a complementing dark grey rucksack over his shoulder and showcased a ring-free hand. 

Elsewhere, the former Live & Kicking star donned a simple blue shirt, along with a navy lightweight sweatshirt under his thick coat for his cheery outing.

Sporting dark-wash denims, Jamie teamed his look with a pair of light brown leather shoes for his afternoon stroll.

Jamie's appearance comes after he was spotted leaving the Global Make Some Noise Gala held in London late last month with Jenni.

The duo were seen holding hands on their exit, before heading home in separate vehicles but have since laughed off the headlines on their radio show.

While they are both happily married to their respective partners - Jenni with James Midgley and Jamie with Sophie Siegle, who he tied the knot with back in 2007 - the two stars appeared to be having a great night as they waited for their taxis.

Wearing a striking green dress, Scottish TV presenter Jenni, 41, looked in high spirits as she cosied up to a suited and booted Jamie.

MailOnline had contacted representatives for both Jamie and Jenni at the time.

While the pair were pictured holding hands, there is nothing to suggest anything more than friendship between the two.

Jenni has been married to James Midgley since 2010 and together they have a daughter Ella, who they welcomed into the world in 2011.

Jamie is a father of two with his wife Sophie Siegle who he married in 2007.
