And Cara De La Hoyde took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a glimpse of her giving birth to the little boy.

The reality star, 25, uploaded the intimate video to her social media, gushing that the pain was 'worth it', but not revealing the child's name.

And the video quickly garnered 100,000 views in a matter of an hour, with fans congratulating her on parenthood.

Cara and Nathan - who won the 2016 series of Love Island - delightedly confirmed the news to OK! last week and revealed that their first child was born at 6.30am.

Clearly overjoyed at becoming a dad, Nathan took to Instagram to upload a cheeky selfie from the delivery room of Cara in labour - but the snap soon sparked engagement speculation as a sparkler was spotted on her ring finger.

However, among the flood of comments congratulating the new parents on their bundle of joy, a few eagle-eyed followers noticed Cara's ring, which was hard to miss as her hand rested on a hospital bed during her gruelling labour.

Showing that they hadn't missed a beat, one user enquired: 'Choosing instead to Congratulations! Did you get engaged too!?'

The news comes after Cara candidly confessed that she is fearful she will suffer from postnatal depression following the arrival of her new addition.

The reality star revealed in an interview with Closer magazine that she has suffered with depression for years and while she claims she is now much more 'positive', worries that could change are 'always in the back of her head'.

Cara credited her pregnancy for easing her battle with mental health and revealed: 'Since I've been pregnant, I haven't had any breakdowns and Nathan says I'm a different person.'
