Deputy PM Damian Green RESIGNS over pornography claims

Damian Green (pictured outside his house far left) has today resigned from the Cabinet in a major blow to Theresa May's government. The First Secretary of State (pictured centre with Mrs May at PMQs today) was 'asked to resign' from the Government by the Prime Minister - who he has been close friends with since they were at university together 30 years ago. An official investigation found that Mr Green made 'inaccurate and misleading' statements about whether porn had been found on his office computers in 2008. Mrs May formally accepted his resignation in a letter (pictured inset left) tonight. The scandal surfaced after former Met Police assistant commissioner Bob Quick (pictured inset right of centre) claimed he found vast amounts of porn on his computer when he raided the Tory MP's offices in 2008. The departure of Mr Green (pictured far right with his wife Alicia Collinson) is a major blow for the Prime Minister as he is regarded as one of her closest allies in politics.

London family ordered to give £600,000 home to neighbours

A family must give their home for the past 31 years to their neighbours after losing a legal fight over an extension they claimed was built three inches into their garden. A court ruling means the Constantines have three weeks to move out of their seven-bedroom home worth £600,000 in East Ham, London - and give their keys to their neighbours, the Ali family, after losing an eight-year legal battle. A judge ordered Herman Constantine (bottom right, with boxes ready for moving out and, top left, showing the three inches of land which were in dispute), 66, and his wife Yvette, 57, to leave the property where they have raised their three children. Professor David Tappin of the British Geological Survey - who was one of the first foreigners to assess the damage to Japan back in 2011 - said the ship might even have landed on Hawaii first and hit the US West Coast afterwards.
