'We promised to wear them!' Prue Leith poses with GBBO predecessor Mary Berry as they joke about their 'rivalry' with matching pink aprons as they join forces to cook Christmas dinner
They're the undisputed Queens of the kitchen.
But Mary Berry and Prue Leith put rivalries aside as they donned matching pink aprons to cook Christmas dinner.
The new Great British Bake Off judge - who took over the judging role from Mary after six years on the show - wore her apron emblazoned with ‘what would Mary do?’

Mary, 82, wore a similar one with her successor’s name stitched across the front.
Prue, 77, shared a picture of them both in the aprons on Instagram, with the caption: ‘My favourite pic. We’ve both promised to wear the aprons to cook the Xmas dinner.’
She replaced the baking extraordinaire earlier this year to judge the competition with Paul Hollywood when the show moved to Channel 4 from the BBC in a £75 million take-over.
New ventures: Mary- along with hosts Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins - left the Great British Bake Off out of loyalty to the BBC
Mary- along with hosts Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins - left out of loyalty to the BBC, while Hollywood, who is going through a divorce with his wife of 20 years Alexandra, stayed at the programme thanks to a £1.2 million pay deal.
He was joined by Prue, who reportedly received £200,000 for the series, while the presenters were replaced by comedians Noel Fielding and Sandi Toksvig.
Last month, the cookery writer said she felt ‘suicidal’ after she mistakenly revealed the winner of this year’s Great British Bake Off early.
Prue accidentally sent a congratulatory Tweet announcing Sophie Faldo, 34, as the champion – six hours before the finale aired on TV.

Her PA quickly spotted and erased the Tweet for her - but it had already been copied and shared widely online.
Channel 4’s reboot of the much-loved baking competition received mixed reviews from fans, with the final watched by 10 million people.

Prue also took to Twitter to share another Christmas lunch as she joined Paul Hollywood, Sandi Toksvig and Noel Fielding round the dinner table.
Despite the culinary expertise on offer, it was comedian Miss Toksvig who rustled up the lunch, which consisted of roast duck, tenderstem broccoli, red cabbage and roast potatoes.
Back together: The Great British Bake Off quartet were reunited for a festive dinner on Sunday as Sandi Taksvig shared a snap with Noel Fielding, Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith
And the lack of grandeur or Michelin-style presentation did not seem to bother the so-called ‘Gang of Four’, who smiled for the camera surrounded by full plates, crackers and bottles of wine.
Miss Leith posted the photo on social media with the caption: ‘Christmas comes early to the Gang of Four. Sandi makes a mean roast duck.’, while Miss Toksvig joked: ‘Just yer average December Sunday lunch guests.’
Hollywood, who announced recently that he has separated from his wife of 19 years, Alexandra Hollywood, wrote: ‘Early Christmas dinner with the Gang of Four.’
This little piggy went to dinner! Prue also tweeted of Paul enjoying a 'marzipan pig', which he had won for ‘finding the whole almond in Sandi’s Danish Rice Pudding'
In a later post, Hollywood was seen holding up a ‘marzipan pig’ made by Fielding, which he had won for ‘finding the whole almond in Sandi’s Danish Rice Pudding’.
Three more places were visible at the table, and although it seems possible that they were occupied by Miss Leith’s husband, Miss Toksvig’s wife and Fielding’s girlfriend, this is not clear.
The dynamic foursome were reunited ahead of the Bake Off Christmas Special, which will see some of the shows favourites return to the coveted tent to produce some festive treats.

Fan favourite Selasi Gbormittah will join Beca Lyne-Pirkis, Paul Jagger and Val Stones for the first episode, while the second will feature Benjamina Ehuehi, Rav Bansal, Rob Billington and Sandy Docherty.
The bakers will take on a host of Christmas challenges that will leave fans watering after their Christmas dinner, with Paul and Prue once again taking on judging duties.
The Great British Bake Off Christmas Special will air on Christmas Day at 7:40pm and New Year's Day at 7:40pm on Channel 4.
