Lottery winner who scooped £41m wins banning order against bar owner's 'soft core porn' book about their steamy affair which began when he chatted her up by saying: 'Google me!'
Bricklayer turned millionaire Gareth Bull has won a High Court battle to stop his ex-mistress from publishing a book about their steamy affair (the couple pictured together, right). The judge heard how bar owner Donna Desporte, 48, (right), had met Mr Bull in October 2016 after he won £41million on the Euromillions in 2012 with his wife Catherine (together, inset). Miss Desporte told the court she was 'wounded' when her relationship with winner came to an end and she was inspired to write a book about their time together. But today the judge ruled in Mr Bull’s favour and has issued an injunction to prevent Miss Desporte from publishing any details about their time together or Mr Bull’s private life.

The moment Meghan was fast-tracked into the Royal Family: Prince Harry's smiling bride-to-be leaves Buckingham Palace after joining her future in-laws for the Queen's traditional Christmas lunch
Meghan treated onlookers gathered outside Buckingham Palace to a cheeky flash of her dazzling diamond engagement ring (inset right) as she and Harry drove away (main image) after attending the Queen's annual pre-Christmas lunch. Also there were the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their children (inset left), Prince Charles and Camilla, and dozens of the Queen's other relatives. Coming less than a month after their engagement was announced to the world, Meghan's seat at the family table today is further evidence of just how warmly - not to mention rapidly - Harry's glowing bride-to-be has been welcomed into the royal fold.
How many more texts have police 'sat on'? Hundreds of CONVICTED rapists could now appeal after a second case falls apart in evidence blunder involving SAME detective responsible for student's rape trial collapse
Isaac Itiary, 24, (left) was released from prison yesterday after it emerged that his 15-year-old alleged victim routinely posed a 19-year-old and lied about her age. Last Thursday Liam Allan's rape trial collapsed because police failed to disclose damning text messages that showed his lover fantasised about being raped and asked Mr Allan (right with his mother Lorraine) for casual sex after she said she was attacked. Both cases were led by Met Detective Constable Mark Azariah who has not been suspended - but is reportedly off active investigations while Scotland Yard reviews 30 cases approaching trial. Barrister Jerry Hayes asked the judge in Mr Allan's case to end the Croydon Crown Court trial and said: 'If there's an ongoing investigation and you're about to go to trial I would demand in writing a letter for police and the CPS that there's nothing that could undermine the prosecution’. He added: '[And if you've already been convicted] They need to look at it again. There is a possibility there have been some very serious miscarriages of justice’.
Police are called in as school is mobbed by furious parents after claims the headteacher told children their Christmas concert was 'rubbish'
Families stormed Windsor Clive Primary School (right) in the Ely area of Cardiff, after devastated pupils were allegedly rebuked for their poor theatrical performances. Mothers and fathers also claim youngsters were warned they would be given only bread and water for their Christmas party if they did not behave. Such was the uproar at the school, that head Vicky Meadows (left) cancelled yesterday evening's second showing of the festive play. One furious mother has now urged fellow parents to write to the school’s governors, ranting on Facebook: ‘We want the best for our children and they don't deserve to be mistreated.’
Terror suspect, 31, appears at the Old Bailey over 'encouraging fanatics to attack Prince George at his primary school in online post of an ISIS jihadist beside the four-year-old future king'
Husnain Rashid (left) made the post about the four-year-old prince on messaging app Telegram, it is alleged. The British national, of Nelson, Lancashire, also allegedly planned to travel to Syria to join ISIS. He was arrested on November 22 and charged with preparing acts of terrorism and assisting others to prepare acts of terrorism. Prince George started at school in south London (inset) in September, when his father, the Duke of Cambridge, brought him in for his first day (right).
Defiant owner of lake who put up sign banning Polish fishermen says he is 'only stopping thieves coming on my private property… I'm doing the right thing'
Billy Evans, 80, who owns Field Farm Fisheries, near Bicester, Oxfordshire, has become embroiled in a discrimination row over the controversial sign. Rado Papiewski, 35, a Polish angler from Doncaster, South Yorkshire, said he was dismayed when other anglers pointed it out to him earlier this year. He has now launched a crowdfunding appeal to raise money for a discrimination case after the fishery ignored letters requesting that the sign is removed. Former Conservative councillor Mr Evans, who has had similar signs on the site for the past eight years, said : 'I shall still stand up for what I believe in. If they want to call me a racist for stopping thieves from coming on my private property that's what they'll do. I know I'm right and I'm doing the right thing.' It comes after Mr Papiewski approached human rights watchdog the Equality and Human Rights Commission over the sign.
Incredible photos reveal how British PoWs kept up morale by performing in DRAG while held captive thousands of miles from home in Nazi camps
Men locked up in German camps during the Second World War would entertain comrades with pantomimes, often rehearsing for months on end and spending weeks making costumes. Cross-dressing was popular in officers’ camps and men in drag were ‘admired’ by their fellow prisoners, who sometimes even felt ‘attracted’ to them. The German guards even enjoyed the performances and would often sit in the front row to get the best view. Historian Dr Clare Makepeace has poured over the diaries, letters and log books of 75 PoWs to better understand how prisoners coped in confinement, in her new book ‘Captives of War: British Prisoners of War in Europe in the Second World War.’ She said: 'Female impersonators in theatrical productions might not have enabled these men to fulfil their reproductive duties, but they certainly provided them with a break from their all male existence.'
Theresa May makes humiliating U-turn on her plan to write the date of Brexit into law as amendment means it can be CHANGED
Theresa May has completed a humiliating U-turn on her flagship Brexit laws to avoid an embarrassing second defeat in the Common tonight. Brexit Minister Steve Baker has signed a series of compromise amendments that water down Mrs May's plan to write exit day of March 29, 2019 on to the bill. The Prime Minister announced the plan to fanfare from Brexiteers in the autumn but it was condemned by critics who claim it adds pressure to the negotiation. Tory rebels who defeated the Government on an amendment to the legislation last week had promised to repeat the revolt if ministers did not back down. ...read ...read

Police scour 'bomb factory above chip shop': Hunt for explosives as four men are quizzed over 'imminent London Christmas market attack' and mosque 'linked to Muslim Brotherhood' is searched
Fearing they had found a possible bomb factory in a flat over a fish and chip shop (pictured top right and inset), counter-terrorism officers urgently evacuated dozens of neighbours from their homes. Police dragged a man from his bed and led him away wearing only his underwear. An Army bomb disposal unit from the Royal Logistics Corps was also sent to the property in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. At the same time armed officers stormed into three properties 15 miles away in Sheffield by blowing off the front doors (left) and throwing stun grenades. Security sources suggested that the plot may have been intending to target a Christmas market in or around the London area. Meanwhile intelligence chiefs were said to have believed 'one or two bombs' were being made. Yesterday, police raided a flat at the back of the Fatima Community Centre (bottom right), a building used as a mosque and for teaching Arabic to children. The mosque is run by the Muslim Association of Britain (MAB), which has previously been claimed to be an alleged Muslim Brotherhood front.

May is slammed for DUCKING showdown with Trump over far-right retweets as it emerges US President WILL make 'working' visit to Britain in the New Year
The Prime Minister finally spoke on the phone last night, nearly a fortnight after Mrs May pledged to call him to voice opposition to his decision to recognise Jerusalem as Israel 's capital. But although Mrs May did raise the Israel issue, no reference was apparently made to their extraordinary public spat over his retweets of anti-Muslim posts by the Britain First group.
