'I was asked to sign pants!' Jenna Coleman reveals her weirdest fan request... while Will Smith, 50, tells Graham Norton he's too old to play himself in Fresh Prince reboot

She’s preparing for a return to TV in the forthcoming Victoria Christmas special, but Jenna Coleman admits she’s still reminded of her former role in long-running show Doctor Who.

Appearing on Friday’s edition of The Graham Norton Show, where she was joined by Hollywood star Will Smith, Jenna, 31, admitted the show’s enduring popularity with devoted fans once prompted a bizarre autograph request.

Joining the actress, Will, 49, admitted he might have to revise a return to his own breakout role should a much vaunted revival of The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air come to fruition.

'Man, I’d have to be Uncle Phil in that one now I’m nearly 50!' he joked, referring to the role originally played by former co-star James Avery, who passed away in 2013.

The actor is currently enjoying a new lease of life in Netflix film Bright, and he admitted the transition from cinema screens to TV streaming has been a refreshing change.

'It’s really a fun and bizarre action movie. It takes some time to get your head around,' he said of the fantasy drama, adding: 'It’s a relief not having to rely on just one opening weekend at the box office to see if your film is a hit or not.'

Reflecting on his lengthy Hollywood career, Will also recalled his meeting with boxing legend Muhammad Ali - who he portrayed in 2001 biopic Ali - he added: 'I was terrified when I met with him – he was the most recognisable person on earth.

'He looked me up and down and said, "Man, you’re almost pretty enough to play me!"'
