Her unique sense of style has perhaps overshadowed her music in the years following the release of her debut album.

But while that may well change with the eagerly anticipated and long-awaited release of her second, Rita Ora embraced a recurring theme as she stepped out in New York City on Wednesday.

The singer, 27, sported a stylish monochrome jacket with distinctive red fleece detail over another eye-catching ensemble while exiting her hotel and crossing the sidewalk, where a car awaited.

Ensuring she commanded attention, Rita added to her look with a plunging silver top, while a striking ruffled red dress added an extra colour to an already engaging outfit.

Rounding things off with a pair of black stiletto heels, the Hot Right Now singer greeted onlookers while climbing into the backlseat of her waiting vehicle.

The singer was stepping out after flying into the United States from Berlin on Monday, and she appeared keen on making an appearance within hours of touching down.

The outing comes after she quietly confirmed she was dating rocker Andrew Watt, who has been rumoured to be her boyfriend for more than a year.

The star took to the photo-sharing app to upload a black-and-white snapshot of herself posing with a hand on the rocker's arm, alongside the caption: 'Last night,' flanked by a pair of love hearts.

Despite the pair having been spotted enjoying a romantic getaway to Rome in October of last year, Rita has stayed mum about their relationship and had notably kept him away from her social media accounts until Tuesday night.
