Temperatures were hovering below freezing in New York City on Friday night.

But that apparently didn't bother Angelina Jolie, who didn't let the chilly weather dictate her outfit for the evening.

The 42-year-old Maleficent star donned a stunning black strapless number for her night on the town with her kids.

Angelina Jolie looked classically elegant at the U.N. Correspondents Association Awards in New York.

For the occasion, the actress really brought out all the stops, opting for a floor-length gown by Ralph & Russo. With its strapless bodice and charming white trail, this piece caught every eye. Angelina completed the ensemble with a pair of long gloves offering a firm nod to old Hollywood glamour.
